In case you wonder why Americans have the God-given right of protection, this video certainly validates it.
During the heated Charlotte riots, this white man found himself surrounded by rioters. After seeing his gun, they decided to back off.
from source: A white man was able to drive through a crowd of angry protesters without incident – because he brandished his pistol.

The unnamed driver approached a crowd of demonstrators chanting “No Justice! No Peace!” and waving signs that said “F**k the Police!” As the crowd began to surround him, he pulled out his weapon in his hand, stuck it out the door and pointed it at the ground.
People began swearing and shouting “He’s got a gun!”
He appears to get out of his car and faces the crowd – without raising his weapon – then gets back in his car and slowly drives away from the scene.
The video was posted on social media by Heather Head.
“White dude drives into crowd of peaceful protesters, draws gun, allowed to drive away alive. With my own eyes. #CharlotteProtest,’ she wrote alongside the shocking clip.
Protesters were marching (and rioting) against the deadly shooting of black man Keith Lamont Scott by a cop on Tuesday afternoon.
The video went viral before it was removed from Twitter.
“I’m hearing that the video is inaccessible. I don’t know why. Honestly… I rarely use Twitter so I’m a little confused right now anyway,” she said.
Apparently, some folks who responded to Head’s post said that the gun-wielding driver wasn’t white.
“I’m so confused by the people saying he wasn’t [white]. I mean, I didn’t take a DNA sample or anything but I saw a lot more of him than a close-up of his arm, and he looked pretty white bread to me. His pals in the car too,” she said. “I wish no ill on anyone. I just want the truth out. I want people to recognize that racism exists, it’s real, and it has real consequences,” she said.
It’s unclear if she was talking about the racism from the protesters for targeting a white man or the driver for pulling a gun the get through the rioters.
While open carry is legal in North Carolina, it is apparently against the law to openly carry a gun at a protest.
The law states: ‘You may not carry a weapon at a parade, funeral procession, picket line, or other demonstration, except for guns carried on a rack in a pickup truck. You may not carry a weapon during civil disorder, riot, or other disturbance involving three or more people.”
One doubts the driver – who was only protecting himself – would face any charges.
