Rinse & Repeat: CNN Calls Foul on NY Times for Lying about Trump

When CNN calls foul on the New York Times, you know the Times has an issue.

And that exactly what happened, when a couple of reporters did a hit piece on Donald Trump, and were caught blatantly lying in the report.

The relevance of this story is that it’s the very same tactic the Left tries on Trump today. A few months back, Megan Twohey and Michael Barbaro co-wrote a report about Trump’s past with women. The two “journalists” interviewed women from Donald Trump’s past, and this interview is about Rowanne Brewer, a supposed victim of Donald Trump. Brewer saw the story and cried foul.

As was reported in Politico,

The New York Times’ article published Saturday with the headline “Crossing the Line: How Donald Trump Behaved With Women in Private” begins with an anecdote from a woman named Rowanne Brewer Lane, who as a 26-year-old model was asked by the businessman to put on a swimsuit during their first meeting at a Mar-a-Lago pool party.

As the CNN hosts interrogate the NY Times reporters, you can see their discomfort.

“As readers noted with our story, we sorta changed the format a little bit. We wanted to, ah, uh, have an opportunity to hear these women in their own words, if possible, so that’s why you had large chunks from our interviews….”

Yes, large chunks apparently taken out of context.

I imagine they felt their media “brothers-in-arms” would not look too deeply into the obvious nonsense of their story. The CNN hosts inquires,

Guys, she very clearly uses the words, “It was misleading, you took my words out of context. ” You didn’t fully quote her, is what she suggests. Uh, she said she called something flattering right after one of these anecdotes…”

The NY Times reporters completely spun what this supposed victim said in an attempt to makeTrump look like he was indeed some womanizing freak. But in fact, Trump and the woman in question went on to have a great romance.

That piece blew up in the face of the media, much like what’s happening to the very same allegations being waged against Trump today. The takeaway?

The media and the Clinton campaign have tried it all. They are now retreading stories that failed. They won’t tell you this in the crooked polls, but this this validates what we already know: Trump is wining.

The media simply cannot be trusted. There is no integrity with these morons, and the sooner we learn this, the better.
