Who Made the List of The Biggest Losers of 2016

Bernie Sanders

Bernie Sanders 2016 sold out to Hillary Clinton

The former mayor, 16-year veteran of the House of Representatives, two-term senator, and apparent political outsider makes the list.

Ironically, Sanders shouldn’t be on the list, given his newfound wealth, post-presidential run. But then there is the fact that he sold out.

The 74-year-old presidential hopeful inspired millions of (ignorant) Millennials (not me, I’m sane) with his promise of free college. Of course the bill would be footed by the rich paying their “fair share.” Sanders promised “ordinary Americans” that he would reform Wall Street.

The political winds blew against Sanders as the Democrat establishment plotted his demise. At this point, Sanders was a winner and certain not to make this list.

However, after Sanders was forced out by the establishment, he then endorsed the very political establishment who cheated him. Sanders proved to be all talk, as he cashed out to become part of the one percent. Sanders lost a big contingent of his fan base, who now see him for what he is: a political profiteer and a sellout.

Maybe this places the “Bernie or Bust” contingent among the biggest losers?
