Clinton Foundation Beginning the Shutdown
I have written often about the extortion racket known as The Clinton Foundation, and I predicted its demise.
Given the scrutiny the organization would receive under a Trump administration Justice Department, the Clintons are folding. Surely they must realize that the salad days have ended for them and their crooked foundation.
In Phase I of the shutdown, a notification was filed as mandated by the Department of Labor’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification.
On Jan 12, the Director of Employee Relations at The Clinton Foundation, Veronika Shiroka advised the Department of Labor that as part of a “Plant Layoff,” the organization would release 22 workers on April 15.
The reason for the layoff were given: “Discontinuation of the Clinton Global Initiative.”
America needs no reminders as to why the Clintons have decided to act ahead of Trump’s inauguration. During the campaign it became clear that The Clinton Foundation operates as a money-laundering scheme and racketeering organization. The tentacles of the organization were worldwide, affecting both corporations and companies. Further, a deep dive into the inner workings of the organization could cause many world leaders to fall.
Thus the writing was on the wall, as in late December, 74 employees were discharged. Desperate, the foundation made a last ditch fundraising effort in December.
Here’s what we reported on that development at the time:
Because of demise of the Clinton brand, the Clinton Foundation resorts to bottom feeding, at least by their former fundraising standards.
These people would have scoffed at such a small fundraiser only a few weeks ago. The Clinton Foundation’s donor list represented the Who’s Who of corporate elites, politicos, and countries.
Not anymore.
The New York Post reports that Clinton Foundation chairman Bruce Lindsey announced in an email to supporters recently that former President Bill Clinton would personally match donations up to $200,000 before the end of the year.
The actual solicitation read as follows:
“As we prepare for a new year, President Clinton and Chelsea remain dedicated to our work providing everyone a chance to succeed,” Lindsey wrote in the email. “Your contribution before the end of the year is so important that President Clinton is personally TRIPLING every gift to the Foundation, up to $200,000.”
