If you were following ABC News, you would have missed the comments of a detained refugee who praised President Trump.
That’s because ABC edited their clip of him speaking before airing his comments.
Iraqi interpreter Hameed Darweesh was filmed here making the comments ABC edited out:
When the narrative doesn’t fit, Liberals say,
“Quick! To the narrative-mobile!”
The video of Rep. Nydia Velazquez’s tells it all. The Democrat has that classic look of “That isn’t what we wanted you to say!!”
The Democratic congresswoman blanks when reality hits her between the eyes. Apparently, the shock of Darweesh’s statement was too much for her mustard-seed sized brain to handle.
Note how she shakes her head, “NO!” whenever Darweesh expresses his love for the USA. Psychologically speaking, she tells all, as she pretends to love America, yet her head movement betrays her.
Velazquez didn’t let up on Trump for even a second throughout the day.
She hurts my ears.
Ms. Velaquez seems to have forgotten 2011. The Obama administration stopped processing all applications for Iraqi refugees for a six-month time period.
A 2013 ABC News article reported,
“The State Department stopped processing Iraq refugees for six months in 2011, federal officials told ABC News – even for many who had heroically helped U.S. forces as interpreters and intelligence assets.”
I guess that was before ABC News got too busy editing out parts of what those heroic Iraqis had to say.
President Trump referred to the Obama Iraqi ban in a January 29 statement defending his immigration executive order. He wrote,
“My policy is similar to what President Obama did in 2011 when he banned visas for refugees from Iraq for six months. The seven countries named in the executive order are the same countries previously identified by the Obama administration as sources of terror.”
Hillary couldn’t bear to keep her big mouth shut either; after all, talking points had been distributed.
Remind me, but who was Secretary of State in 2011, when Obama stopped immigration from Iraq?
InformationLiberation.com had this to say:
People are regularly held up by immigration officials across the globe. Getting into ultra-liberal Canada can take an entire day if you’re flagged for whatever reason. The hysteria the media’s trying to create because President Trump moved to protect America from terrorists is nothing but unadulterated fake news.
Loser Hillary Clinton would never miss an opportunity to exploit her followers who were completely misled by the media’s rhetoric around President Trump’s Executive Order.
Let’s go way back to the administration of another ineffective liberal POTUS. In 1979, then-President Jimmy Carter signed an Executive Order instructing his deputies to make 50,000 Iranian students who were temporarily living in the United States to report to their nearest immigration office.
That same year under the Carter administration, a U.S. Appeals Court ordered the deportation of the 7,000 Iranian students with visa violations. All in all, bout 15,000 Iranians were told to leave the United States.
Also, Iranians entering the United States were forced to undergo extra border screening, and many Iranians’ with existing visas found them canceled. All under Carter.
Where was the Liberal angst back then? Likely in the same place as Obama’s college transcripts.
