As an attack on a mosque happened in Quebec, hundreds of innocent Christians were killed all around the world. The last words they heard were “Allahu akbar!”
As a Christian, I pain for the six people who were killed and eight wounded when gunmen opened fire at a Quebec mosque during Sunday night prayers. But the world is quick to jump to the aid of Muslims while ignoring the cries of others.
In fact, for Leftists, there is a rush to see who can be outraged the quickest.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau immediately called the attack, a “terrorist attack on Muslims”. I suggest he pull an Obama and lecture Muslims on tolerance, in the event the attackers are secular Leftists. He can then remind Muslims that they brought this on themselves due to their heinous acts.
Police are said to have two suspects in custody, however they gave no details about them or what prompted the attack. This of course makes me and likely much of the world suspicious. Why not tell the world who did it? Was it a roving gang of rogue Catholic nuns? Was it bad cops from Ferguson, MO?
No, it must have been Trump protesters, as the world certainly knows how mean-spirited and anti-Muslim they can be.
Here’s what’s been reported about the killers, as initially a witness said up to three gunmen had fired on about 40 people inside the Quebec City Islamic Cultural Centre. Police said only two people were involved in the attack.
“Six people are confirmed dead – they range in age from 35 to about 70,” Quebec provincial police spokeswoman Christine Coulombe told reporters, adding eight people were wounded and 39 were unharmed.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in a statement:
“We condemn this terrorist attack on Muslims in a center of worship and refuge”.
“Muslim-Canadians are an important part of our national fabric, and these senseless acts have no place in our communities, cities and country.”
These statements are perplexing. For example, when the gays were killed in Orlando, I can’t imagine somebody saying, “Gay-Canadians are an important part of our national fabric.”
All Canadians are an important part of the “national fabric,” frayed as it may be with some of the deadbeats. Why talk as if Muslims have some special place?
Is This The Reason?
61 million people run from war torn mostly Muslim countries all over the world, and yet apologists like Trudeau continue to welcome killers in their midst.
As Reuters reported,
The shooting in Quebec came on the weekend that Trudeau said Canada would welcome refugees, after U.S. President Donald Trump suspended the U.S. refugee program and temporarily barred citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States on national security grounds.
A Canadian federal Liberal legislator, Greg Fergus, tweeted: “This is an act of terrorism — the result of years of sermonizing Muslims. Words matter and hateful speeches have consequences!”
So what 46 other mostly-Muslim countries were NOT included in the temporary ban, a ban Obama made as well back in 2011. When the narrative is to demonize President Trump, why let facts interfere.
Embattled Mayor of New York Bill de Blasio said police were providing additional protection for mosques in that city following the Quebec shooting.
“All New Yorkers should be vigilant. If you see something, say something,” he tweeted.
Let’s hope the Muslim vote can carry him in the next election.
Interestingly, in the wake of this single attack on Muslims, and we still are not sure who did it, the Reuters article continues,
‘NOT SAFE HERE’
Like France, Quebec has struggled at times to reconcile its secular identity with a rising Muslim population, many of them from North Africa.
In June last year, a pig’s head was left on the doorstep of the cultural center.
“We are not safe here,” said Mohammed Oudghiri, who normally attends prayers at the mosque in the middle-class, residential area, but did not on Sunday.
My bet is that pig’s head was left by another Muslim, likely paid by Soros. The fact is, we will likely never know. But what we do know is Muslims were killing as I wrote this article, and they will kill again.
