BREAKING: Trump Sending ATF Troops to Chicago to Curb Violence

Donald Trump was serious about protecting black people.

trump dc economyAside from covering all Americans with his travel order on Muslims, the president has targeted Chicago for his more specific protection of blacks.

According to CNN,

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is looking to transfer approximately 20 agents to Chicago in an effort to “beef up” the federal presence in the city, two federal law enforcement officials told CNN Friday

The additional agents will form a new task force, which the ATF referred to in internal documents as the “Chicago Crime Guns Strike Force,” in an effort to stem the city’s gun violence.

Though you can bet Emanuel will downplay this move by the Trump administration, you can bet this is in direct response to the president’s tweet on violence in Chicago:
As we’ve learned, when Trump tweets, he’s not joking.
Nevertheless, according to one official the increase has been in the works for some time and is not in response to President Donald Trump’s tweet.

The article continues to give the “politically correct” version of the Trump move:

“ATF is exploring various options as we are committed to furthering law enforcement efforts in Chicago,” the spokesperson added. “One of those options is to send additional agents to Chicago on permanent transfers. ATF is still early in the process of developing strategies and will be prepared to discuss these options further once plans are finalized.”
Anybody else want to bet on what other Federal troops will end up in Chicago? Perhaps  more ICE agents, since Emanuel has declared Chicago a sanctuary city.

I suggest that President Trump will begin a media war with Emanuel. Here’s a potential tweet:

Emanuel won’t protect blacks, but brings in Mexican drug lords and sex traffickers. Bad. Bad for minorities.
Trump is a fricking political ninja. No move is made without precise calculation. And the calculus means safer streets for minorities, and Emanuel will get the political lesson of his life.
