IRONY: Leftist Receives Lifetime Impact Award Given for Doing Nothing

Chelsea Clinton has been part of a criminal organization that makes the Mafia look like baby ducks. After bilking the world for billions, the Clintons now live large.
The narrative claims that The Clinton Foundation has done such amazing work around the globe. Sure they have; if the measurement is rewarding oneself with hundreds of millions of dollars.
With that measurement, some leftist organization wants to award Chelsea Clinton.
She, along with a selected group of women will be honored as Variety’s Lifetime Impact Honorees for Humanitarian work next month in New York City.
Variety Magazine and the Lifetime television will host the annual “Women of Power” luncheon where selected lucky ladies who have dedicated their lives to the service of others will be honored with ‘Lifetime Impact awards.’ Chelsea Clinton is the vice chair of the Clinton Foundation.
The gathering of over four hundred will include some of the most powerful women across the country. Although Chelsea’s social calendar is crowded, it’s almost certain that she will attend.
I equate the award given to 37-year old Chelsea Clinton with Obama’s award for transparency.
Leftists can’t pass up the chance to get awards. Truthfully, they live for these moments to adorn themselves with worthless trinkets, however undeserved.
This year, for no apparent reason, Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and former Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, will get a “lifetime achievement” award for her service to…well, that part’s not quite clear.
But she’ll get the lifetime achievement award anyway.
According to Variety, the women will get the award for “their humanitarian work,” as well as their impact on the fields of entertainment and media. Included in this year’s group is Jessica Chastain, who has led a one-woman campaign in support of Planned Parenthood and O-magazine editor and Oprah BFF Gayle King, who uses her fortune to help the homeless and destitute in New York City.
Other honorees have fought child sex trafficking, helped homeless youth, and funded a vast network of legal clinics to aid the marginalized.
Chelsea? She fought to make her criminally insane mother the president. Surely that’s worth some kind of recognition.
Leftists invested in the Clintons. And though they sold at a loss, they can’t let the investment become completely worthless.
Look at what they’ve tried.
They touted Hillary Clinton as a potential mayor of New York City. They even floated the idea of Chelsea Clinton entering politics. All their ideas go over like a Rosie O’Donnell at a nudist convention.
We’re on to the Left. Their awards are as meaningless as their actions.
