FEAR OF TRUMP: Largest Cinco de Mayo Parade Cancelled

¡Madre de Dios! Did American enforcement of its laws rain on their parade? Bueno. That’s how the law works.

When will the Left learn that Trump meant what he said and will do what he promised?

The only thing illegal aliens have to fear is how many crimes they commit on U.S. soil.

ICE agents don’t have time to break up a parade. They’re too busy arresting illegal gang bangers who rape and murder American citizens. Nevertheless, The Hill reports that El Carnaval de Puebla, the biggest Cinco de Mayo celebration in Philadelphia, will not happen this year. Those who plan it say President Trump is the reason.

Edgar Ramirez told NBC that as many as 15,000 people gather for the annual parade. The decision was “sad but responsible” amid reports of more immigration enforcement arrests by ICE.

How funny is that? Illegals who openly thwart American laws and carry protest signs on the backdrop of the Mexican flag, are now too “pollo” to celebrate Cinco de Mayo?

Are we to believe that all Mexicans in the United States are illegal?

ICE Officer Khaalid Walls recently stated in an email:

“ICE’s enforcement actions are targeted and lead driven. ICE does not conduct sweeps or raids that target aliens indiscriminately.”

That means, if you’re not a criminal, you have no reason to avoid the parade. How many of the expected 15,000 revelers are illegal? Is this the first of many canceled Cinco de Mayo celebrations? Frankly, it’s about time law-breaking malcontents no longer feel safe publicly flouting U.S. laws. Trust me, it’s about to get worse.

Trump campaigned on a promise to strengthen immigration laws and the American-Mexico border. And Trump keeps his promises. That’s what has the Left so upset.

The ICE crackdown began weeks ago in southern border towns. After two weeks of ICE raids in the east, 248 criminal illegal immigrants from Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia are in federal custody awaiting deportation. News of these raids put fear into the illegal criminal community, as well it should. Ramirez revealed that:

“The group of six organizers decided to cancel unanimously. Everyone is offended by the actions of ICE. They did not feel comfortable holding the event.”

Many Americans are a lot more than just offended that criminal illegals murder and rape our fellow citizens. These citizens are happy that under Trump, ICE is doing its job.

In a city that boasts a population of 1.5 million people, 15,000 represents one tenth of one percent.

I’m sure they can forego a year without a Cinco de Mayo. Perhaps they will reconsider their invitation list next year, asking legal citizens to celebrate Mexican heritage.

Carlos Torres, a spokesman with the Mexican Consulate in Philadelphia said he’s not surprised that legal and illegal immigrants are upset about the parade cancellation.

“I would understand why people are scared or worried. But our message is that we are with them. People should try to continue to live their lives as regular as possible, but in a well-informed manner.”

So, the Mexican consulate in the U.S. is “with” illegal immigrants hiding in fear of ICE deportation. Does that mean they’ll help criminal illegals evade ICE?

Parade organizers hope next year will be different. With less illegals in attendance and the border wall under construction by then, it’s sure to be, at the very least, safer.
