Van Jones of CNN: President Trump Winning Him and Other Leftists Over
Van Jones may do more to break through to Leftists than all the Democrat politicos.
Recall when Jones rightfully predicted that the Clinton days are over?
Next, he lamented Donald Trump’s victory months in advance. Jones explained in this video the “cult of personality” that defines now President Trump.
Is Jones beginning to “get it?”
Just as Jones recognized Donald Trump’s ability to adapt to the changing dynamics in politics, it appears Jones has witnessed another quality in now President Trump.
In his analysis of President Trump’s speech to Congress, Jones found the tribute to fallen Navy SEAL Ryan Owens and his widow a cathartic moment.
“He became President of the United States in that moment, period,” Jones said. “There are a lot of people who have a lot of reasons to be frustrated with him, to be fearful of him, to be mad at him. But that was one of the most extraordinary moments you have ever seen in American politics, period.
“And for people who have been hoping that he would become unifying, hoping that he might find some way to become presidential, they should be happy with that moment. For people who have been hoping that he would remain a divisive cartoon, which he often finds a way to do, they should begin to become a little bit worried tonight,” Jones added. “Because that thing you just saw him do–if he can find a way to do that over and over again, he’s going to be there for eight years.”
You don’t have to search long to know that Jones is no Trump fan.
At one time, Jones compared him to Fidel Castro.
After Trump’s victory, in keeping with the Leftists’ racist narrative, Jones commented that the victory was “whitelash against a changing country.” Trump’s election was “whitelash”…”against a black president.”
Let’s see how Jones and many other Leftists handle things when the policies of President Trump begin helping blacks. Then women. Then all Americans.
Jones has been ahead of the curve, when it comes to predicting. Without saying it, Jones may have warned Democrats that Trump is a different adversary. Thus they need to take heed.
Something tells me that Jones is beginning to see Donald Trump in a new light.
