While Leftists fixate on “the wall,” President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions act on something more pressing. They continue to deport the worst of the criminal interlopers from America.

The process began the moment Trump took office.

And we documented that illegal border crossings have dropped dramatically. But, the news is getting better.

As The Washington Examiner reports: arrests of illegal criminals jumps 250% in one week

As promised, immigration police have expanded their campaign to deport illegals with criminal records, announcing the seizure of 368 illegals in seven states and Washington, D.C.

That nearly a 250 percent increase over the 106 announced a week earlier.

The biggest seizures by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were in Texas, but they made arrests as far north as Wyoming.

What’s more, they targeted members of the violent MS-13 gang and illegals charged with sex crimes against kids.

In one five-day campaign around Virginia and Washington, 82 illegals from 26 countries were arrested.

This is great news, yet Democrats continue to fight the president.

In fact, according to Breitbart, Democrats want to ban ICE from courthouses.

A new Democrat-sponsored bill would ban federal immigration officials from arresting illegal immigrants at designated areas like courthouses.

The Protecting Sensitive Locations Act by Rep. Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR), Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-NY), Rep. José Serrano (D-NY), and Rep. Don Beyer (D-VA) would essentially make it impossible for Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to arrest illegal immigrants at courthouses, as well as medical, educational, and religious facilities.

The solution to the insanity caused by Democrats is simple: sue those who aid and abet non-citizens over citizens. So, as FOX News Denver reports:

A bill being considered in the State Senate would allow crime victims to sue so-called sanctuary cities if an undocumented immigrant is convicted of the crime.

SB17-281, the Hold Colorado Government Accountable Sanctuary Jurisdictions bill, was scheduled to be heard Monday in the Senate Judiciary Committee.

The bill declares “sanctuary policies adopted by a city, county, city and county, or other jurisdiction that direct employees not to cooperate with federal immigration officers are contrary to the safety and welfare of the people of Colorado.”

The bill would require all political subdivisions (jurisdictions) of the state to comply with federal immigration law and would give the secretary of homeland security the authority to designate a jurisdiction as a sanctuary jurisdiction.

You can bet these bills are being considered all over America. And they will get passed, particularly where Republicans are in control of state legislatures.

So expect the number of deportations to continue to rise, and the streets of America to get safer.
