LEFTISTS’ LATEST CLAIM: 6-Month-Old Babies are Racists [VIDEO]
Two University of Ontario studies revealed that babies as young as six months old exhibit racial bias.
One of the university researchers sat down with Tucker Carlson to explain.
As The Daily Mail reported, Dr. Kang Lee, a professor at OISE’s Jackman Institute of Child Study commented of his work,
“The results show that race-based bias already exists around the second half of a child’s first year.”
According to the researchers babies associate positive-sounding music to people of their own race and negative-sounding music with people of another race.
Then, in the second study, the researchers claim that babies were more likely to follow the gaze of people of their own race than people of another race.
The theory? The researchers suggest babies are more willing to learn from people who look like them.
“These findings thus point to the possibility that aspects of racial bias later in life may arise from our lack of exposure to other-race individuals in infancy,” Lee said.
OR perhaps there are other theories that might better explain this “phenomenon?”
Carlson wasn’t impressed.
“Now, I’m not a social scientist or a researcher. But it seems unlikely that you could measure the racial attitudes of a three-month-old, beyond like my diaper is dirty kind of thing, or I want some milk,” Carlson said to Lee.
“The way to do it,” Lee said, “is to see what kind of things we associate with or whether or not we tend to learn—the babies like to learn from own-race individuals [rather than] other-race individuals.”
Lee then explained in one study found babies prefer to learn from people with the same or similar racial background. Lee also said he believes this could be the basis for racist attitudes developed later in life.
“From a non-expert point of view, this suggests that these attitudes are not learned behavior but a product of evolutionary biology. But I guess you would know,” Carlson said to Lee. “As someone who would cover politics, though, I’m pretty certain that your study is going to lead to new government programs and government control over babies.”
Sadly, we pay for these nonsensical studies, though in this case it was Canadian taxpayers.
However, you can bet that American universities will (1) attempt to duplicate the work, and (2) reference the work of the Canadians as gospel.
Shocking to believe that babies would follow somebody who looks like its principle caregiver, ergo it’s PARENTS.
The idea that a learned behavior is racist at the age of 6 months is ridiculous. Yet, these are the types of subjects academics study.
As Carlson pointed out, more government regulation could be the result of these nonsensical studies.
What’s next? Will we search for the “racism gene?” Then we could identify racist babies early and save society from them.
