Reschedule Reaction! Coulter BLASTS Berkeley Enablers of “Rodney King-Style Rioters” [VIDEO]

UC Berkeley cancelled, then rescheduled the conservative author’s speech to the middle of prep week for final exams.

Last night, Ann Coulter served up righteous outrage against an college administration that continues to pander to the feelings of liberal snowflakes, violent anarchists, and their political apologists.

When Berkeley College Republicans invited her to speak, Coulter booked her flights and hotel. Then the university cancelled due to violent alt-left protests. So, Coulter moved her speech to a new venue on the same date.

Enabling violent rioters to win, Berkeley administration liberals then re-invited Coulter, but for a different date. The new day (May 2) lands on the study week just before exam time, when few students will even be on campus. Surely that will keep paid anarchists away.

But, Coulter’s had enough. She’s sticking with her original speaking date. And, she called out Berkeley enablers who encroach on American’s free speech rights.

Last night, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity asked Coulter:

“What is your reaction to A) being cancelled, and B) being rescheduled?”

Coulter BLASTS Berkeley EnablersThat’s when the author of 12 New York Times best sellers let loose.

“Berkeley, well for one thing, they are so completely insulated. You cannot discriminate against [conservatives] on the basis of viewpoint. No, you cannot impose arbitrary and harassing restrictions on the exercise of a constitutional right. I don’t happen to be available on May 2.”

Hence the reason she couldn’t acquiesce yet again.

In addition, Coulter pointed out Berkeley’s record of hypocrisy regarding the free speech rights of campus speakers.

“I think [San Francisco reporters] might want to ask Janet Napolitano this: Is she willing to have, even if this were possible, to pay the 100s of 1,000s of dollars in re-booked hotel rooms, flights, for me, my security, [or] my guests? Was Vicente Fox required to reschedule randomly?”

Just getting warmed up, Coulter next offered common sense solutions that Berkeley summarily rejected.

“None of this has to do with security. I suggested two measures that actually would allow free speech to exist at Berkeley, if they wanted it to. One is to announce that any students caught engaging in violence, mayhem, or disrupting an invited speaker’s speech would be expelled. And number two is to have a little talk with the Berkeley Chief of Police who is allowing these Rodney King [style] riots to go on whenever a conservative speaks.”

“This is a form, I mean it is anarchy when you are only enforcing the law in order to allow liberals to speak. But no, we’ll let these masked rioters show up with weapons.”

Finally, Coulter reminded Berkeley enablers that the law is on her side, not theirs.

“But courts have found even somebody out burning an American flag. The police cannot stand by and let skin heads beat them up. That is viewpoint discrimination. And they are all liable.”

“In any public space, American citizens have constitutional rights. And just note I have never been shut down from speaking in this country. This will be a first. This is, you know, California. It’s public space. These polite liberals, they are enabling these fascist thugs showing up with weapons and wearing masks. It’s against the law to conspire to violate someone’s constitutional rights.”

Enough said? Keep fighting against leftist hypocrisy and intimidation, Ann. We’re with you.
