CNN FIRES ISIS Wannabe Kathy Griffin after Trump Beheading Stunt
After this desperate-for-attention whore’s stunt blew up in her face, CNN finally lets her go.
The ISIS wannabe broadcast a video of herself holding up a bloodied, decapitated head made to look like President Trump.
Only radical Islamic extremists act like that.
The reference to Islam and Muslims didn’t go unnoticed, as the underlying truth to the joke is that Griffin prefers Islam over Trump.
Did I miss Griffin’s conversion? If so, where’s her hijab?
Trending: Don’t Blame Donald Trump
It’s more likely that her alt-Left approach to political “debate” was meant to egg on her liberal cohorts to further extremes of resistance against the Trump administration.
But CNN isn’t having it. After some debate, they decided to let her go. Griffin will no longer co-host CNN’s annual New Year’s Eve program, with anchor Anderson Cooper. CNN announced the termination via Twitter:
“CNN has terminated our agreement with Kathy Griffin to appear on our New Year’s Eve program.”
Here’s my question: Why did CNN even need to think about it?
Late Tuesday night, CNN condemned Griffin’s video, and said they were “evaluating New Year’s Eve plans.”
No one’s heard from this D-List celebrity in years. When we finally do, this is her choice for headline-grabbing attention? Pathetic.
With a pretense of contrition, Griffin later attempted a sterile, tightly scripted, monotone, and completely disingenuous apology. She claimed threatening the life of the president went too far.
Gee, ya think? But even that half-hearted apology-lite smacked of desperation for attention, as well.
“I’m just now seeing the reaction of these images. I’m a comic. I am sorry. I went way too far. I was wrong. I apologize.”
Once again, the mental disorder of liberalism is demonstrated clearly by Hollyweird.
I wonder why she would need to see ANY reactions in order to know she had crossed a line.
It’s clear that Griffin refuses to exercise the common sense God gave her.
Anderson Cooper reacted with disgust, saying:
He was “appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate.”
Trump condemned the photo in an early Wednesday morning Tweet:
“Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself. My children, especially my 11-year-old son Barron, are having a hard time with this. Sick!”
Indeed, Trump’s son saw the video clip on the news. According to TMZ, Barron was so upset, that he immediately screamed in panic for his mother, Melania.
Seems that for once, CNN sided with Trump.
Or, at the very least, didn’t want any more of his ire directed at them.
Although New Year’s is 7 months away, the network received pressure to take action. Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., tweeted at Jake Tapper:
“Thanks Jake, but you didn’t say if you thought @CNN should sever their ties to her and stop putting her on air. Let us know. Thx”
The backlash continued with Squatty Potty. Like CNN, it didn’t take CEO Bobby Edwards long to announce it has cut ties with Griffin:
“We were shocked and disappointed to learn about the image Ms. Griffin shared today, it was deeply inappropriate and runs contrary to the core values our company stands for. In response, Squatty Potty has suspended its ad campaign featuring Ms. Griffin. We have acted swiftly and decisively to demonstrate our commitment to a culture of decency, civility, and tolerance.”
Unlike Griffin’s half-a$$ed apology, at least this leftist sounds sincere.
