Judge to New Citizens: Support Trump or Go Back Home [VIDEO]
There’s nothing like a good, old-fashioned patriotic welcome for every citizen.
But for many newly minted Americans, one federal judge had words of warning about their attitudes toward our new president.
A cornucopia of diversity from across the globe met in San Antonio a few weeks after the election to officially become American citizens.
Judge John Primomo, the federal magistrate judge who presided over the new citizens’ oath and pledge of allegiance, gave words of warning to scores of new citizens in the wake of Donald Trump’s election.
That message in essence declared that Donald Trump is the president of all Americans, no matter one’s political affiliation. If you don’t like it, find somewhere else to call home.
“I can assure you that whether you voted for him, or you did not vote for him, if you are a citizen of the United States, he is your president. And he will be your president. And if you do not like that, you need to go to another country.”
The judge later said he meant his words to foster unity in the wake of a very contentious campaign.
The lecture may well have rung true for hundreds, if not thousands of American-born alt-left loons who do not understand the concept of respecting the office of the presidency.
Indeed, scores of Hollyweirdos and alt-leftists grasped for relevance, by calling for recounts, declaring that the duly elected president was not their president, and demanding Trump’s impeachment before he ever took office.
In light of this upheaval, there was never a more crucial time to rally in support of President Trump. Yet, celebrities and other liberals both in and outside of Congress continue to “resist” and obstruct Trump’s policies at every turn.
However, their divisiveness helps nobody. Their insolence shows the world how angry the Left get when they lose. They go to violent extremes to protest because they don’t have a quorum in the voting booth.
Nevertheless, Judge Primomo set the right tone for the new U.S. citizens in southern Texas.
And they responded by talking about why they’re proud of their new country.
Rafael Guerra spoke of the importance of free elections:
“The essence of America is that you have the right to vote and choose who you want to represent you.”
Vharati Dharwadkar expressed joy at becoming an American. She also described the reasons for her desire for U.S. citizenship.
“It was really exciting. The freedom and the importance the lady gets in this country, is like independent. She can freely say whatever it is she has to say.”
Mohammed Al Fayyadh also exuded excitement and joy at his newfound potential.
“It is exciting to be an American. I believe that America is bigger than whoever is in office.”
What a difference a perspective makes.
Pampered liberal brats lecture Trump about his policies. New Americans are grateful to have made it to the land of the free, and look forward to the opportunities America affords them. America provides hundreds of thousands of new citizens opportunities they would not have in their countries of origin.
God bless America.
