MELANIA’S REVENGE: First Lady Serves Leftists CROW
Not since Jacqueline Kennedy has a First Lady been so breathtakingly elegant on her own.
Melania’s revenge leaves designers who refused to dress her absolutely speechless.
Early on it was made clear that Melania buys her own clothes. She doesn’t sit back and try to cash in on the freebies. Melania doesn’t even ask for the deep discounts other public figures might expect to receive. She knows what she can afford and she knows what looks good on her (just about everything).
Yet, several designers publicly announced they would not dress the First Lady pre-inauguration. Therefore, they shunned the First Lady.
When the big day arrived, Melania showcased a sky-blue Ralph Lauren ensemble. Her merely wearing the outfit gave the stock a bump (from $88.19 to $90.13 per share). Further, Lauren received a nice bump in sales.
Now Melania’s first trip abroad as FLOTUS has designers scratching their heads.
“The first lady’s trip to Saudi Arabia, the Vatican, Belgium and Sicily — wearing mostly Dolce & Gabbana — was a fashion tour de force that has forced many naysayers in the rag trade to rethink.
The list of designers who said they wouldn’t dress Melania is long, led by Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Christian Siriano and Sophie Theallet.
But Melania has managed to look smashing in dozens of different ensembles, from her white Ralph Lauren jumpsuit on election night to the D&G 3-D floral coat she wore in Sicily on Friday.”
“Clothes can be deeply symbolic. And Trump’s choice of Dolce & Gabbana — an Italian brand that has been deeply inspired by Sicilian culture — for a trip to Sicily makes sense. Gabbana also has been quite vocal and enthusiastic in his willingness to associate his brand with the first lady, something many designers have not been comfortable doing because of her husband’s policies and temperament. Trump has worn the label multiple times on her inaugural foreign trip.”
Just as the leftists will eventually bow at the altar of all things President Trump, many leftists have begun to kiss Melania’s ring.
“Defending the former model against critics who harped on the garment’s $51,500 cost, the Washington Post’s Robin Givhan opined, “Frankly, the floral coat is beautiful.”“There is a softening, a melting,” stylist Phillip Bloch told me. “Fashion people are fickle and fake. They are starting to see she is a beautiful woman who is married to the president, and it is an honor to dress her.”
Social media lights up with praises for the First Lady.

After the brouhaha over designers saying they wouldn’t design for such an elegant First Lady and former model, Melania metaphorically bitch-slapped them all.
“Melania has style oozing from every part of her body. But she has something Michelle Obama just didn’t have: class”
