Kamala Harris: Dems Groom Light-Skin Negro to Challenge Trump
Over 1000 seats down, the Democrats await 2018 and the hope that the Russian narrative will cause the House to flip. It won’t.
In fact, the Republicans will gain more seats in both bodies of Congress.
After that, it won’t matter much who the Dems pick. Nevertheless, it is in their best interest to at least have a bush league. Another suggestion–if I may–would be for the Democrats to actually have a message.
As for the messengers, Corey Booker and Kamala Harris are the leading candidates to take over the helm. More “light-skinned Negroes with no Negro dialects.” How’d that work out last time?

So less than a year into the Trump Era, the Dems begin preparations. They are vetting people for 2020, and trying to jettison the baggage, literally.
No longer is Senator Elizabeth Warren the belle of the ball.
The Democrats have an ingenue, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA). Sources say she met with members of Hillary Clinton’s “inner circle” and other top Democratic operatives and fundraisers in the Hamptons over the weekend. It is rumored they discussed Harris as a potential challenger for Trump in 2020.
According to the New York Post:
The California senator is being fêted in Bridgehampton on Saturday at the home of MWWPR guru Michael Kempner, a staunch Clinton supporter who was one of her national-finance co-chairs and a lead fundraiser for her 2008 bid for the presidency. He was also listed as one of the top “bundlers” for Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign, having raised $3 million.
Guests there to greet Harris are expected to include Margo Alexander, a member of Clinton’s inner circle; Dennis Mehiel, a Democratic donor who is the chairman of the Battery Park City Authority, even though he lives between a sprawling Westchester estate and an Upper East Side pad; designer Steven Gambrel and Democratic National Committee member Robert Zimmerman.
The report comes just weeks after Harris said at a conference in California that she hasn’t considered running for president in 2020, citing her current job as The Golden State’s freshman senator.
“I’m not giving that any consideration. I’ve got to stay focused,” Harris said at the conference, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Rinse and repeat.
Another bi-racial black person. And the added benefit that she’s a woman. As The Blaze reported,
But a “Democratic insider” directly refuted that in comments to the Post. In fact, the source told the newspaper that Harris, who the person described as “the big Democratic star,” was coming to the Hamptons so she could begin to build a foundation for 2020.
“Kamala is the big Democratic star right now, at a time when they badly need a star. She’s coming to the Hamptons to meet key people as she takes a national stage, and expands her influence and ambitions,” the source said.
Harris, 52, is the former California attorney general and previously served as the district attorney of California’s fourth-largest city, San Francisco. She is good friends with former President Barack Obama, who called Harris the “best-looking attorney general in the country” in 2013.
Nothing bodes well for Kamala Harris. But that won’t stop the Left from trying to build her up.
Even with that light resume and her staunch leftism, Harris represents the great black hope.
Consider who else might try:
Given how much time is left until the 2020 elections, it’s not clear who will run for the Democratic nomination. In addition to the potential of Harris, Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), Cory Booker (N.J.) and Al Franken (Minn.) may run, while there is talk of others like Govs. Jerry Brown (Calif.) or Terry McAuliffe (Va.) throwing their hats in the ring. Rumors even include the names of Clinton or former Vice President Joe Biden as potential candidates.
What a list of has-beens. Some of these people will likely be dead or in jail by election time.
Democrats are doomed in 2018 and 2020. The best they can hope for is Donald Trump Jr. doesn’t run in 2024.
