Chappelle-Nadal: FUNDRAISING to Assassinate President Trump
It wasn’t enough that State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal wanted to see President Trump assassinated.
Why not fundraise to help with the cause?!
According to FOX News,
Allies of the state senator in Missouri fighting to keep her seat after saying she hopes President Trump is assassinated set up a website and encouraged people to donate money to the embattled Democrat.
But after Fox News asked questions about the request for donations, the fundraising link disappeared from the site.
And despite Chappelle-Nadal being under fire, she still doesn’t get it.
State Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal told Fox News in a statement on Wednesday she appreciates the “gesture and show of support” from the supporter who set up the site.
Appreciates the gesture?
Serioulsy, if Chappelle-Nadal learned anything, she would have chastised the people attempting to fundraise, instead of appreciating them. Let’s try this.
Although I understand there are people who support my statement of wanting to kill President Trump, as I have stated, I was WRONG. Any gestures supporting that effort are equally wrong, and thus I cannot support them in any way!
THAT’S what she should have said. Instead, Chappelle-Nadal supports the efforts of a group who would fundraise for a potential assassin!
The article continues,
The “I stand with Maria” website included a link to Chappelle-Nadal’s fundraising page at ActBlue, an online platform used by Democrats to raise money online.
“An enthusiastic supporter started a website – www.istandwithmaria.com – to collect signatures in support of me staying in the Missouri Senate,” Chappelle-Nadal said. “They added a link to my Senate ActBlue, which is public. The page is a nice gesture and show of support.”
As we reported, Chappelle-Nadal’s job is at risk.
Only hours ago we posted that the legislature removed Chappelle-Nadal from nine committees. That was considered a formality, since they needed to do that to begin expulsion. And that’s exactly what has happened.
Later on Tuesday, Missouri Lt. Gov. Michael L. Parson called for the Missouri Senate to go into a special session in conjunction with a veto session with the purpose of expelling the senator.
“The recent inflammatory comments made by Senator Chappelle-Nadal are unacceptable and unbefiting conduct of a Missouri State Senator,” he said. “Condemnation for these remarks was swift and bipartisan. Governor Greitens, Senator McCaskill, Congressman Clay, Congressman Cleaver, and numerous others – including myself – have called for Senator Chappelle-Nadal to resign, but she has thus far refused. I would like to thank Minority Leader Gina Walsh for her swift action to condemn the Senator’s remarks and remove her from committee assignments.”
Frankly, I believe Chappelle-Nadal may be behind the effort to save her skin (pardon the pun).
And like in the Act One of her Trump Assassination Plot, in a subsequent statement Chappelle-Nadal asked for removal of the fundraising link.
“I have requested of my supporter to take the ActBlue tab off their website,” she said.
By Wednesday evening, the webmaster removed the fundraising button. Nevertheless, the website remained. Further, the site asked people to sign a petition to keep an ethnocentric black racist on the Missouri state senate. Next, the site attempts to rationalize her comments.
…as constituents and community members and people who feel the same frustration with our current political landscape stand with Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal. We know that there is a huge difference between saying that someone hopes Donald Trump is assassinated and someone calling for his assassination.
We call on Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal to NOT resign.
“Out of anger and frustration, I said something that could have been reframed. And I refuse to shy away from the hypocrisy and chaos our country is enduring under Trump.” – Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal
How do you “reframe” wanting to assassinate the president?
Instead of saying I hope somebody assassinates President Trump, you say, “I hope President Trump is KILT UP IN THIS MOTHERF*CKER?!”
See, it remains the same, no matter how you say it.
But in the end, Trump trumped black racist feminism in one fell swoop.
All I can say is “Nice try, Lefties! And you would have gotten away with it, if it weren’t for Scooby Doo!”
