DEFEAT TRUMP: The Democrats Think They Found a Winner
I have a warning for Leftists: be careful what you wish for.
Obama wreaked havoc on the Democrats, but some within the ranks seem to see the devastation differently.
Despite Obama losing over 1,000 Democrat politicians their jobs, Obama retains god-like status. While he and a few high-level Democrats made out like bandits financially, the bottom-feeders in the party suffered mightily. Nevertheless, Democrats continue s Thus they continue to search for the elusive Obama version 2.0.
Apparently Democrats believe that person to be Patrick Deval, former governor of Massachusetts.
Talk about your bait and switch. Deval and Obama are roughly the same color, and neither have the “Negro dialect”. As far as Democrats are concerned, their base won’t know the difference. Further, as their white base goes, they can’t tell black people apart anyway.
The positioning of Patrick has begun, as Obama staff heavyweights add fuel to the fire.
Jarrett, one of Obama’s closest White House advisers, told Politico that a Patrick presidential bid is what “my heart desires.”
“He has the ability to touch people’s hearts as well as their minds,” Jarrett said recently. “I think our country is ready for that now — let alone in three years.”
“He’s kind of a natural to look at because he was a successful governor, he is an inspiring guy, and you have to ask yourself what is the country going to be looking for in their next president after this guy?” said Axelrod, who has advised Patrick in the past.
Still, Patrick will need to run the gauntlet of old Leftists politicos. Because Biden, Sander, Clinton and Warren aren’t going away. Despite all of these rich white Democrats being in their 70s by election time, they still believe they can “serve” the nation.
The Democrats have a real dilemma on their hands. Vote for the old white guard or go back to the failed black guard. Given the Clinton debacle, one can see where Obama will side.
According to the Daily Caller:
Obama and Patrick have had a relationship for 20 years. The pair have advised each other on political decisions and traded endorsements throughout the years, and Patrick is the only politician on the board of the Obama Foundation.
As is normal of potential candidates so far ahead of the election, Patrick avoided the subject of his political future.
“I’m trying to think about how to be helpful, because I care about the country, and I’m a patriot first. It’s way, way too soon to be making plans for 2020,” Patrick told Politico in an interview for its “Off Message” podcast.
“So I’ll just leave it at that,” he said, adding: “I have no plans to make plans.”
Because of the turmoil in the Democratic Party, you can bet their candidates will be a strange brew. It won’t matter who they ultimately choose, as the Democrats won’t have a message. But you can bet Trump will have a message, and the results to back it up.
Sleep well, Conservatives. The Democrats have no chance in 2018 or in 2020.
