Trump Slaps Chicago Mayor with Latest Immigration Move
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel will lose big on illegals.
At some point, the citizens of Chicago, particularly black citizens will revolt on Emanuel and the Democrats.
President Trump has thrown down the gauntlet, and he will destroy sanctuary cities. One of the ways the president will limit illegals coming to America is by taking away any chance they are here for our goodies. The benefits in America are remarkable, particularly given the fact that half the world survives on less than $5 a day.
As for President Trump’s new proposals for immigration to the U.S., Chicago plans to sue.
Interesting, given that Trump’s proposal protects citizens, while Emanuel’s hurts citizens. Regardless, Emanuel and other Leftists say it is illegal for the federal government to withhold the cash.
You know, because illegals should be allowed to remain in the Windy City.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) plans to push back against the Trump administration’s policy withholding public safety grant money from so-called sanctuary cities by filing a federal lawsuit claiming it is illegal for the federal government to take such action.
“We’re not going to actually auction off our values as a city, so Monday morning the city of Chicago is going to court, we’re going to take the Justice Department to court based on this,” Emanuel said during an interview on WLS radio 890 set to air Sunday, according to The Chicago Tribune.
“We find it unlawful and unconstitutional to be, as a city, coerced on a policy,” he continued.
I can’t wait to see how Chicago finds protecting citizens against criminals somehow violates the Constitution?
City mayors who advocate for sanctuary cities status should be impeached. As I have written,

First we allow them to come here illegally. Then we stand by when they commit serious crimes like rape and murder. And now, they can sue us for following our own federal laws just because some local cities decided to defy them. The liberals who instituted those policies should have to cough up the payout. As Fox News reports:
Pedro Figueroa-Zarceno, reached the settlement agreement with the city attorney’s office, said Saira Hussain, a staff attorney at the Asian Law Caucus who represented Zarceno. The agreement must be approved by the Board of Supervisors.
“It’s really important for San Francisco to remain a sanctuary city not in name only but also in practice,” Hussain told The San Francisco Examiner. “Our hope is that the department is going to look into this further and really examine the way that the department can do more.”
Figueroa-Zarceno sued San Francisco in January for violating its sanctuary city law.
The construction worker said he went to police in December 2015 after getting a call from authorities that his stolen car had been found. Instead of helping him, he said, officers detained him and called immigration authorities.
He was taken into custody by federal authorities outside the police station and was in jail for two months. He has been fighting his deportation since his release.
“What happened to me was very unfair and it was an injustice,” Figueroa-Zerceno said. “I went into the police station to seek help and they didn’t tell me what was happening and they arrested me and treated me badly.”
How silly is this? Does anybody think an American could win a case like this in Mexico?
Does anybody even bother keeping score? All I know is illegals were winning…bigly. That’s until Trump became president.

Sacramento became the latest city this week to go above and beyond ‘sanctuary’ policies by approving the use of taxpayer dollars to support the legal defense of illegal immigrants facing deportation.
The City Council voted unanimously Thursday night to draw $300,000 from the general fund to “provide urgent legal and support services to Sacramento families facing the immediate threat of separation due to deportation.”
The plan, backed by the mayor, fits a trend of local and state lawmakers taking similar action. As the Trump administration separately faces a court setback in its bid to cut off federal funds to sanctuary cities, those jurisdictions are only doubling down.
Earlier in the week, officials in Michigan’s Washtenaw County gave initial approval to pay such legal bills with taxpayer funds.
Proposals to directly or indirectly pay for legal assistance to illegal immigrants have also gained approval in Providence, R.I.; Austin, Texas; San Francisco, Calif.; and Newark, N.J.
Even in the small New York city of Ithaca, politicians are gearing up to spend emergency funds to help illegal immigrants taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, according to The Ithaca Voice.
Keep in mind that recently we learned that some cities will reduce the sentences of illegals, so they don’t qualify for deportation.
Exactly how much do Leftists believe their policies work?
