AFFIRMATIVE ACTION Fashion: Michelle Obama Named ‘Best Dressed’
The Left pretend to never get enough of the Obamas.
And they will do just about anything to make the world believe in their undying devotion to the royal black pair.
Barack Obama was given a Nobel Peace Prize as he fought three wars abroad, and created a civil war inside America. Meanwhile, Michelle Obama starved school children and oversaw the biggest waste of food in modern history.
But let’s not forget: the president and first lady were black! So the fawning continues.
Eight months into the Trump administration, and the ruse continues. The Left continue pining away for their beloved Obamas, less they force themselves to admire real royalty–the Trumps.
And in its continued subterfuge, Vanity Fair named Michelle Obama “best dressed”, as they honor their annual fashionistas. Just for shiggles I’ll ask if you believe the Leftist fashion rag put lovely fashion model turned First Lady Melania Trump?
Daily Caller has the story:
Vanity Fair celebrated the world’s royalty and celebrities in its annual Best Dressed List, published Wednesday.
Inductees included Prince Phillip, Queen Letizia of Spain, Justin Trudeau, Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron, and of course, Barack and Michelle Obama.
This year’s list seems to overrepresent politicians and royalty. Sure some celebrities are to be expected – like Rihanna who’s been the face of Dior – but did Prince Phillip really deserve to be in this year’s running? He’s 96 and rarely in the public eye.
And where is Melania Trump? You know, the First Lady and also the Slovenian immigrant who was a fashion model until 2016?
Neither of these women has a patent on black heels and stripes, but I might go so far as to say that Melania looks better than Michelle.
The only way Michelle Obama beats Melania in anything related to looks or fashion is with a steep Affirmative Action curve.
For the record, that is not a criticism of Michelle Obama, necessarily. But Stevie Wonder can see that Melania is heads and shoulders better looking, more elegant, and sophisticated than Michelle Obama. PERIOD.
Has anyone looked at the really poor numbers of @VanityFair Magazine. Way down, big trouble, dead! Graydon Carter, no talent, will be out!

I wrote of Melania Trump recently, in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.
For the first time in my adult life, I’m proud of America’s First Lady.
OK, my statement was intentionally melodramatic, but only to drive home a point as Michelle Obama did years ago. While Michelle Obama may have only been proud to be an American after Barack Obama’s election, I’m finally proud to be a Conservative woman.
Look at America’s new First Lady role model. Whatever you may think of Michelle Obama, for me, Melania set the standard.
Melania gives the White House a regal feel. And not just with her beauty, her class, her style, and her elegance, all worthy of adoration for certain. However, her sincere heart for the American people she serves makes her even more special.
Recall the brouhaha over fashion “designer” Sophie Theallet?
TBS wrote at the time,
Can you believe that “fashion designer” Sophie Theallet considers not designing dresses for Melania Trump a slam? Talk about a pre-emptive strike. As if Melania Trump would hire that hack to dress her.
Has this chick actually seen the crap wardrobe she’s made for Michelle Obama? One of the perks of becoming First Lady is not to look like the homeless.
“Designer Sophie Theallet isn’t a fan of President-elect Donald Trump and has announced she’s refusing to dress the next first lady, Melania Trump.
“As one who celebrates and strives for diversity, individual freedom, and respect for all lifestyles, I will not participate in dressing or associating in any way with the next First Lady,” Theallet wrote in an open letter she posted to Twitter on Thursday. “The rhetoric of racism, sexism, and xenophobia unleashed by her husband’s presidential campaign are incompatible with the shared values we live by.”
Theallet, 52, is a French-born designer who grew to prominence by dressing current first lady Michelle Obama on a number of occasions.”
If Michelle Obama can get a designer prominence, what do you think Melania could do for one’s career?!
Look at those outfits for Michelle Obama, and tell me that a fashion designer did that. I have no fashion talent, and can do better than that.
And I assure you, Michelle Obama dresses no better today, than she did as first lady.
It’s no wonder President Trump ridiculed Vanity Fair. The rag should be called Vanity Unfair or Unfair Vanity, take your pick. To put Michelle Obama on the “best dressed” list is a travesty. To leave Melania Trump off the list is patently ridiculous.
