Democrats Wish Hillary Clinton would ‘STFU and just go away’
Hillary Clinton continues her fight for relevance.
Unfortunately for her, the Clinton Era is over. She just refuses to acknowledge it.
Recently Chuck Schumer tossed Hillary Clinton under the bus, and that wasn’t easy. First, she’s heavy. Second, the Clintons have flaunted their power for decades, and most people feared them.
Apparently, that is no longer the case. When the people who once feared “death by Clinton” now speak out, it’s time to retire. Here’s is what I wrote of Schumer kicking Hillary Clinton to the curb:
Chuck Schumer announced the end of The Clinton Era.
Now Hillary Clinton and the rest of her corrupt family can return down their rat holes. Clinton need not worry, as she will have plenty of company soon. Including Schumer.
He said the Clintons are over without actually saying it. But the political-speak is clear. Schumer has played “cover your ass” and thrown Hillary Clinton under the bus.
As the Daily Beast reported,
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer ripped his former colleague, Hillary Clinton, over her election loss to President Donald Trump and her subsequent efforts to explain why she lost.
“When you lose to somebody who has 40 percent popularity, you don’t blame other things—Comey, Russia—you blame yourself,” Schumer told The Washington Post. “So what did we do wrong? People didn’t know what we stood for, just that we were against Trump. And still believe that.”
Schumer’s comments—referring to Clinton blaming Russian meddling and the former FBI director for her loss to Trump—come as Democrats are trying to re-brand ahead of the 2018 midterm elections. Democrats unveiled their new slogan as, “A Better Deal: Better Jobs, Better Wages, Better Future.”
Why did Schumer hit the eject button on Hillary Clinton’s seat at the table?
Simple. She and the Democratic Party are toxic.
Bill Clinton gets it. He’s been happy to skulk into obscurity. However, he comes out when forced in order to honor his deal with the devil.
Speak of the devil, Hillary Clinton now promotes her new book. She got the last fat book deal of her life, unless she writes “Memoirs from Prison”. Admittedly, I’d buy that book. Until then however, Clinton must shill her existing drivel, What Happened? to rubes who know exactly what happened.
What happened? Trump happened.
Hillary Clinton’s book and tour expose the Left’s true feelings about Hillary Clinton. Democrats grow wearier of her endless search for excuses. Moreover, Hillary Clinton clamors for the spotlight in the midst of turmoil that could land her in prison.
According to The Hill, a former Hillary fundraiser wished “she’d just shut the f**k up and go away.”
Not everyone was so charitable. Even some of Clinton’s allies have grown weary of her insistence on re-litigating the 2016 campaign at a time when the Democratic Party is looking to forge a new identity in the age of Trump.“The best thing she could do is disappear,” said one former Clinton fundraiser and surrogate who played an active role at the convention. “She’s doing harm to all of us because of her own selfishness. Honestly, I wish she’d just shut the f— up and go away.”
He’s not the only one who wishes that, as the earlier reference statement by Schumer suggests. But there are other indicators. Like Pelosi’s declaration that Democrats stop criticizing Trump.
Who was the culprit who wants Democrats to stop criticizing the president? To the surprise of many Leftists, none other than House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi made this surprising comment.
“(The voters) don’t want to hear us criticizing the president,” Pelosi said. “This was a choice; they made a decision.”
“And to criticize the president personally is to disrespect their judgment,” Pelosi said. “So I say to my members, ‘This is about what we’re going to do.’”
Pelosi made her statement while speaking to the editorial board and reporters at the Denver Post . Pelosi discussed the Democrats’ agenda, and focused on the economy.
Trust me; it’s just a matter of time before Hillary Clinton goes away.
And so will Chelsea, Lena Dunham, Alyssa Milano, and others who criticize Trump. These people still practice analog politics in a digital world.
Lots of people bet on old school politics to help them remain relevant. Some hoped for the big payday the pay-for-play politics of the Clintons promised. But whatever their reason, these people will need to find new lives. Soon criticism of President Trump will be met with a backlash that ruins careers. Don’t believe me, just ask Kathy Griffith.
