Leftists: Proof that Humanity is getting Dumber [VIDEO]

When you must idiot proof lives to this degree, you see the trend.

As the Huffington Post reported,

Our technology may be getting smarter, but a provocative new study suggests human intelligence is on the decline. In fact, it indicates that Westerners have lost 14 I.Q. pointson average since the Victorian Era.

What exactly explains this decline? Study co-author Dr. Jan te Nijenhuis, professor of work and organizational psychology at the University of Amsterdam, points to the fact that women of high intelligence tend to have fewer children than do women of lower intelligence. This negative association between I.Q. and fertility has been demonstrated time and again in research over the last century.

So apparently marketers come by these things honestly?

And based on what we see daily in colleges and universities, does any of this surprise you? Today we don’t turn children into adults. Our politics require that we allow young adults to revert back to being children. Thus, we make things easy.

Consider all that a person can now do at the fingertips with smartphones.

In an article called Our Fragile Intellect, Crabtree argued that human intellectual fitness has been on a slow but steady decay for 3,000 years, and it is due to our relatively easy lifestyle that has freed us from a state of ‘survival by thinking.’

There have been other studies. Take the Woodley Study for example.

A team of three psychologists based in Sweden, Belgium and The Netherlands, and led by Michael A. Woodely completed a study in 2012 (and published the findings in 2013) that nearly set the Internet on fire. News outlets, blogs, and social media users all over the world published clickbait-esque titles that all showed one logical conclusion: we’re getting dumber.

The study tested reaction times in subjects based on previous findings that those with higher IQ tended to react quicker to external stimuli. Their findings supported this, and the study concluded by boldly stating that we are, in fact, far less intelligent than our Victorian ancestors.

The results were probably attributed to dysgenic fertility. To put it simply (because we’re apparently not as intelligent as we once were): the stupid are breeding at a far faster pace than their more intelligent peers.

Few could argue that the dumb are fast breeders.

You’ve seen them on Maury, and The Jerry Springer Show, and others. Kids having babies at 13, others becoming grandparents by 30.

Still other studies argue one way or the other. But the signs don’t lie.
