Add MATH to the List of White Privilege Nonsense
I got a minor in White Privilege and had no idea.
With degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, I charted a course for success as an electrical design engineer years ago. But little did I know that my “oh yeah” degree in Math is what would be my roadmap to success.
You see, when you get an EE degree, all you need is one more math class to get a minor. I selected Partial Differential Equations, or PDE for short. The class was taught be a NASA mathematician, Dr. Lamm (quite a hottie). Let’s just say the subject and my professor had my full attention. But I digress.
I learn now that while taking Calculus I, II, and III, Linear Algebra, and PDE, I was actually performing “cultural appropriation” of WHITE PRIVILEGE!
As Fox reports,
A math education professor at the University of Illinois says the ability to solve geometry and algebra problems and teaching such subjects perpetuates so-called white privilege.
Rochelle Gutierrez laid out her views on the subject in an article for a newly published anthology for math educators titled, “Building Support for Scholarly Practices in Mathematics Methods.”
“School mathematics curricula emphasizing terms like Pythagorean Theorem and pi perpetuate a perception that mathematics was largely developed by Greeks and other Europeans,” she says, according to Campus Reform.

Do I really need to point out how insane Leftism has become? It’s one thing for dumb ass professors to teach this crap in “Humanities”. But when they now try to teach oppression in STEM classes, you know they’ve lost it.
Using their logic, gravity discriminates against whites, right? White guys can’t jump. And who runs the fastest? BLACK PEOPLE!

She also says that addressing equity in mathematics education will come when teachers can understand and negotiate the politics outside the classroom.
“On many levels, mathematics itself operates as whiteness. Who gets credit for doing and developing mathematics, who is capable in mathematics, and who is seen as part of the mathematical community is generally viewed as white,” she writes.
Further, she says mathematics operates with unearned privilege in society, “just like whiteness.”
So if any non-white uses math, do we pay a royalty?
Here I thought math is free; a gift to civilization. But wackademics teach that we must know who discovered the work, and if not a minority refuse to use it?

Professor Angela Putman of Pennsylvania State University gleaned from an academic paper that the notion of “If I work hard I can be successful” is an ideology of “whiteness.”
Certain excepts from her paper include:
“Angela Putman conducted a study to critique and examine “ideologies within college students’ discourse that are foundational to whiteness.” Her resulting conclusion published on Thursday was that “meritocracy”, or the belief that people should rise based on the fruits of their own labor, is a “white ideology.” In her mind, this “white ideology” is unfortunately widely accepted in academia.
Putman believes that it is somehow a bad thing to teach students personal responsibility. Emphasizing a collectivist mindset, Putman puts forth the idea that Americans are falsely “socialized to believe that we got to where we are… because of our own individual efforts.”
“Until students learn the hidden dangers of believing in the value of hard-work and a positive attitude, “whiteness ideologies may be reproduced through a general acceptance and unchallenging of norms, as well as through everyday discourse from a wide variety of racial positionalities.”
Essentially, these fools propose that black people can’t work based on a meritocracy?
And the Left wonder what insanity Obama ushered in? Obama didn’t invent Leftism, but he certainly nurtured it and fed it irradiated steroids.

She can’t appreciate the gifts of civilization. What should disturb her more is why there are not black minds filling these history books. The clue is in how the Left coddle blacks. At this rate, blacks will never untapped our full potential.
