Gov Jerry Brown HIV Legislation: Don’t Ask Don’t Tell
California citizens are truly crazy and constantly put themselves in danger by their votes.
Currently Califormia experiences an outbreak of Hepatitis A. As CBS reports,
Thethat has claimed 17 lives may not have peaked and could take a year or more to abate, health officials said Thursday.
The contagious, liver-damaging illness has infected at least 568 people since November, mainly in San Diego, Santa Cruz and Los Angeles counties.
This outbreak likely occurred due to the influx of illegals. But don’t think Californians would admit to that. Admitting to that would validate President Trump. So Californians are ok with Hep A, scabies, and other diseases illegals bring in, but don’t you dare try to get a fruit through customs.
Frankly, I suggest President Trump quarantine the state and build the wall between the California border and the United States. Because we may soon need it.
According to the LA Times,
Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill Friday that lowers from a felony to a misdemeanor the crime of knowingly exposing a sexual partner to HIV without disclosing the infection.
The measure also applies to those who give blood without telling the blood bank that they are HIV-positive.
Modern medicine allows those with HIV to live longer lives and nearly eliminates the possibility of transmission, according to state Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) and Assemblyman Todd Gloria (D-San Diego), authors of the bill.
“Today California took a major step toward treating HIV as a public health issue, instead of treating people living with HIV as criminals,” Wiener said in a statement. “HIV should be treated like all other serious infectious diseases, and that’s what SB 239 does.”
A public health menace, and Leftists tout the “science”?
What happened to, “If we can just save ONE life?!”
As for criminality, a person who knowingly gives a potentially deadly disease to somebody is a criminal.
But the law goes “Comey”, which is really dangerous:
Supporters of the change said the current law requires an intent to transmit HIV to justify a felony, but others noted cases have been prosecuted where there was no physical contact, so there was an argument intent was lacking.
Exactly how do you declare “intent”, given James Comey’s tortuous precedent?
Hillary Clinton hid a server, hired a separate IT staff, and sent classified emails under an unauthorized email system. Then she deleted 33,000 email and bleach-bit her hard drives. Finally, she destroyed cell phones with hammers.
All this, and Comey determined Clinton had no “intent” to obstruct justice. What awaits mere mortals?
So far, Brown declined to comment on his action, and I’m sure he won’t.
But here’s some real irony.
While Governor Moonbeam downgrades HIV from deadly to a nuisance, the CDC upgraded gonorrhea to potentially deadly.
According to the World Health Organization,
Data from 77 countries show that antibiotic resistance is making gonorrhoea – a common sexually-transmitted infection – much harder, and sometimes impossible, to treat.
“The bacteria that cause gonorrhoea are particularly smart. Every time we use a new class of antibiotics to treat the infection, the bacteria evolve to resist them,” said Dr Teodora Wi, Medical Officer, Human Reproduction, at WHO.
The notion of downgrading HIV is ridiculous.
This legislation is more of the gay agenda. Further, legislation like this is the very reason HIV/AIDS became one of the most deadly STDs in history.
We wrote of the marketing of AIDS:
“Sex doesn’t cause AIDS – a virus does.”
AIDS was first identified in the United States in 1981. Since then, “an estimated 1,051,875 people have been diagnosed with AIDS in America.” Close to 600,000 of them have died.
In 1983, there were only 1,500 cases of AIDS diagnosed in America, but the rate of infection was doubling every month. The gay rights community, however, was engaged in a campaign of intimidation against those who would label the disease “sexually transmitted.”
For example, the Stonewall Gay Democratic Club in San Francisco was one of the more powerful political groups in the Bay Area. It promoted the slogan, “Sex doesn’t cause AIDS – a virus does.”
Brown’s legislation is simply LGBTQ Lifestyle Marketing – Part II.
This type of legislation is reckless to say the least.
