Why Is Trump’s Justice Department PROTECTING Lynch?

The Justice Department is covering up for the Clintons yet again.

They have blanked out the talking points between Bill and Lynch’s Tarmac meeting. The redactions make it impossible to know what was really discussed.

Judicial Watch reports::

“Judicial Watch today announced that the Justice Department refuses to disclose the talking points developed by the Obama Justice Department to help it respond to press inquiries about the controversial June 27, 2016, tarmac meeting between Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.”

We reported a few months ago that The American Center for Law and Justice poured over documents connected to the tarmac meeting, which led to shocking revelations that former FBI James Comey lied about the meeting.

“We have just obtained hundreds of pages in our ongoing investigation and federal lawsuit on former Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s tarmac meeting with former President Bill Clinton while the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI had an ongoing criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails,” says a new report from officials with the American Center for Law and Justice.

“The results are shocking.”

“First, the Comey FBI lied to us. Last July, we sent FOIA requests to both the Comey FBI and the Lynch DOJ asking for any documents related to the Clinton Lynch plane meeting. The FBI, under the then directorship of James Comey, quickly replied that ‘No records responsive to your request were located.’”

However, from records that now have become available, “It is clear that there were multiple records within the FBI responsive to our request and that discussions regarding the surreptitious meeting between then AG Lynch and the husband of the subject of an ongoing FBI criminal investigation reached the highest levels of the FBI,” the ACLJ reported.”

The fact is Comey lied.

Then he instructed the FBI to cover up his lies. His more than 150 subordinates obliged. So, they told us that Clinton and Lynch discussed “golf” and “grandchildren”.

In response, the Judicial Watch sued the Justice Department. They demanded the DOJ release the REAL documents and talking points they withheld about the meeting.

The Justice Department released a redacted version of talking points it created about last year’s tarmac meeting between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton, and claimed that the information could be withheld because of the government’s “deliberative process” privilege.

The conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act request to obtain numerous documents related to the meeting, and eventually had to sue the Department of Justice to obtain the documents, which included the redacted talking points.

Now the DOJ has released the documents. However, they blanked out the specifics on the talking points discussed between Lynch and Clinton.

If golf and grandchildren were discussed, why are redactions needed?

The judicial Watch report continues:

The Justice Department heavily redacted the documents under Exemption b (5), which allows agencies to withhold draft or deliberative process material.  The blacked-out material centers around talking points drafted and used by Justice to respond to press inquiries about the Lynch-Clinton meeting.

The agency produced 417 pages of documents in response to Judicial Watch’s FOIA lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:17-cv-00421) seeking:

  • All records and/or transcripts of a meeting held between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton in June 2016.

  • Next, all records of communication sent to or from officials in the Office of the Attorney General regarding the meeting held between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton in June 2016.

  • All records of communication sent to or from officials in the Office of the Deputy Attorney General regarding the meeting held between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton in June 2016.

  • All references to the meeting held between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton contained in day planners, calendars and schedules in the Office of the Attorney General.

America knows that golf and grandchildren weren’t discussed. But why no tell us what was discussed? Isn’t that part of draining the swamp?

What Clinton and Lynch did was collusion, pure and simple. It’s shameful that any presidency wouldn’t expose these cockroaches for whom they are.

All Americans, not just Conservatives need to know the depths to which Leftists will go to cover their tracks. The long-term strategy of the Trump administration should be to demoralize the Democrats to make future elections easier for Conservatives.
