Leftists Find No Collusion Between Trump and Russia BUT…

The facts are in. There is no collusion between Trump or his satellites.

But don’t let the facts fool you, because the key words in the report by a Democratic representative is, “no specific evidence”. 

As reported by the Free Beacon,

Democratic Rep. Jackie Speier (Calif.) said Wednesday there is no “specific evidence” of collusion between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and Russian-linked Facebook ads.

CNN’s Jake Tapper asked Speier, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, about the subject on “The Lead.” CNN reported Wednesday that a number of Russian-linked ads on Facebook targeted Michigan and Wisconsin, which Trump flipped from blue to red in 2016.

“Do you know of any evidence right now that anyone in the United States, whether they were associated with the Trump campaign or not, helped these Russian operatives with information about where to target these ads or voters to target?” Tapper asked.

“We don’t have any specific evidence,” Speier said. “But these were sophisticated persons who were doing the targeting.”

I get it. There’s no evidence, because the people were sophisticated in the cover-up. In other words, because of the level of sophistication, the Left has a reason to continue the investigation that yielded no evidence. It’s like keeping the semen sample in hopes that better ability to analyze the DNA.

Only this time technology won’t save the Left.

Interesting that no other country is held accountable for attempting to influence elections. Take Mexico, for example. Their countrymen have invaded the United States and actively voted in our elections. We know that happens routinely, and have evidence to prove it. We don’t need a Special Prosecutor, nor do we need to wait on better technology.

The Washington Times reported,

A research group in New Jersey has taken a fresh look at postelection polling data and concluded that the number of noncitizens voting illegally in U.S. elections is likely far greater than previous estimates.

As many as 5.7 million noncitizens may have voted in the 2008 election, which put Barack Obama in the White House.

The research organization Just Facts, a widely cited, independent think tank led by self-described conservatives and libertarians, revealed its number-crunching in a report on national immigration.

Just Facts President James D. Agresti and his team looked at data from an extensive Harvard/YouGov study that every two years questions a sample size of tens of thousands of voters. Some acknowledge they are noncitizens and are thus ineligible to vote.

Just Facts’ conclusions confront both sides in the illegal voting debate: those who say it happens a lot and those who say the problem nonexistent.

Think Democrats in Congress really wants to get to the bottom of election interference?

Speier also said that Russia’s attempts at interference in American politics was part of a long-term strategy on Russia’s part to try to infiltrate and sway American politics.

And what is the long-term strategy of Mexico in our elections? Are the leaders who supposedly called Hillary Clinton expressing fear of President Trump interfering with our electoral process?

Tapper continues grilling Clinton:

“Now the chair and vice chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee said they were intended to sow chaos and could have affected theoretically the Clinton campaign and the Trump campaign,” Tapper said. “Does that suggest to you or do you believe that Russia was not necessarily trying to boost candidate Trump?”

“I don’t know that we can say that definitively one way or the other,” Speier said.

So what are we spending all this money on? To determine that we don’t know one way or the other?

It’s time to shift this investigation from President Trump and over to the real election riggers: the Democrats.

Senate Intelligence Committee chairman Richard Burr (R., N.C.) said Wednesday his committee is still continuing to look for any “hint” of collusion and said he had no initial findings to disclose.

To quote Obama, there is not a scintilla of collusion here. But that doesn’t matter to the Left. They simply hope that keeping the investigation open will create the specter of impropriety.

Hillary Clinton has a better chance of becoming a runway model.
