Next Mueller Target: Tony Podesta Resigns from Lobbying Company

In case you need a hint on where Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller may be sniffing, here’s one.

The Podestas brokered the deal for The Clinton Foundation that gave 20 percent of America’s uranium to whom Democrats call our “arch nemesis”: Russia.

Now Mueller teased the Left with the indictment of Manafort. However he didn’t even get Manafort for his involvement in the deal, but for his financial shenanigans. Who knows where that leads; but it won’t involve President Trump. Nevertheless, it will involve the Podesta Brothers, the Clinton cartel, and Obama.

We learned the following from Fox News:

Tony Podesta, founder of the Podesta Group and brother of former Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, is resigning from his lobbying company.

Sounds like what Harvey Weinstein did in wake of allegations of one sexual harassment claim. Nobody was surprised to learn there were dozens more.

Is there rehab for crooked lobbyists?

The article continues,

Podesta and his lobbying firm were subjects of a federal investigation led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

The Podesta Group was one of several firms that worked on a campaign called the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine. The campaign was led by Paul Manafort and promoted Ukraine’s image in the West.

Manafort, who served as President Trump’s campaign manager for a period last summer, was indicted Friday by Mueller’s team for several charges dating back to his work in Ukraine.

According to Politico, which first reported the story, Podesta will be handing over full operational and financial control to the company’s CEO Kimberly Fritts.

Why isn’t John Podesta taking over? The last major sighting of Podesta, politically-speaking came with his testimony before the Senate.

As Politico reported back in September:

John Podesta, the former chairman of Democrat Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, met Monday afternoon with Senate Intelligence Committee investigators who are looking into Russia’s role in the 2016 election.

Podesta was seen leaving the secure Intelligence Committee spaces around 3:30 p.m. The committee declined to comment on Podesta’s appearance, and he did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Podesta was one of several Democratic operatives whose emails were obtained by suspected Kremlin-backed hackers and subsequently released by Wikileaks during the campaign. Thousands of emails from his private account leaked online in the fall of 2016.

The former campaign chair’s meeting with the Senate Intelligence Committee comes as the panel’s probe gains speed following a lull during the August recess. The committee began its investigation early this year and has conducted dozens of interviews and months’ worth of document review.

Is it any wonder that Podesta said the following about President Trump in a radio interview back in May:

Donald Trump is “unfit for office,” a president whose actions are often “absolutely crazy” and whose White House has “a complete disregard for the truth.” His firing of James Comey, the FBI director overseeing an investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 campaign and whether Trump’s advisers colluded with it, amounts to “close to an obstruction case” against the president.

But, says John Podesta—the sharp-tongued campaign chairman for Hillary Clinton whose 60,000 hacked emails are at the heart of that FBI investigation into the team of the man who defeated them—don’t expect impeachment proceedings anytime soon.

We will soon see who has a complete disregard for the truth.

In an email to his staff, Podesta reportedly detailed why he was stepping down. The memo read, because he “needs to fight this as an individual, but doesn’t want the firm to fight it.”

I’m shocked he didn’t vow to get the NRA and make Donald Trump’s life a living hell!

How do you become a Financial Times “50 heavy lifters”? And how do you become one of “Washington’s biggest players”, named such by The New York Times? You befriend the Clintons. Do that, and your organization can grow from obscurity to prominence in one election cycle.

There’s blood in the water

In the wake of the Mueller investigation the Podesta Group has struggled. The firm lost about a half dozen of its clients, who cut times with the firm this year. The future isn’t bright for The Podesta Group, as the firm lost substantial income. Reportedly, they dropped from $6.1 million in the third quarter of 2016 to an estimated $4.8 million this year.

We documented the same for the crooked Clinton Foundation.

Like Armstrong, the Clintons have used their charity to hide their devious dealings.

However, with the demise of Hillary Clinton’s presidential aspirations and political career, The Clinton’s house of cards has begun to fall. As the New York Post reported,

Donations to the Clinton Foundation nose-dived last year amid Hillary Clinton’s presidential run, pay-to-play allegations, internal strife and a black mark from a charity watchdog.

Contributions fell by 37 percent to $108 million, down from $172 million in 2014, according to the group’s latest tax filings.

The cash plummeted as Hillary Clinton left the nonprofit in April 2015 after announcing her ill-fated candidacy. The foundation became a major issue in the race, with Donald Trump vowing to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate it.

37 percent is a big hit, however the Clintons were positioning for the bigger payday. They were willing to take the smaller financial hit, as they set up the racketeering organization for the big score. When Hillary Clinton ascended the throne, their payday would more than makeup for the temporary setback.

Both the Podesta Group and The Clinton Foundation are done. Thankfully so. These two groups have extorted the world, and put America in harm’s way.

Believe that the Podestas and the Clinton will soon find themselves behind bars. And the glee on the face of Conservatives will feel like Disneyland on steroids soon. For we shall rub their smug Leftist noses firmly between our butt-cheeks.

Podesta leaving his own company is huge. The Left know this. He will go down soon, as will his brother. The Left provides no cover for the Clintons, et al, and America will finally see how dirty the Democrats are.
