Political Activism: Latest Excuse when Leftists get FIRED in Hollywood

Political Activism: Latest Excuse when Leftists get FIRED in Hollywood

Tough to sleep your way to the top when you’ll sleep with anybody for any reason.

Such is the life of Chelsea Handler.

The poster child for feminism and the very reason the “Harvey Weinsteins” flourish in Hollywood made a declaration recently. She’s ending her Netflix series we are told to, “Focus on her political activism”.

Sure, because people in Hollywood fight hard to get to the top so they can eventually focus on their political activism.

Chelsea Handler says she is ending her weekly Netflix talk show after two seasons in order to focus on political activism.

Handler says in a statement that she plans to devote as much time as she can to become “a more knowledgeable and engaged citizen” and take on projects that have personal significance. The comedian adds that her goal is to be better informed and “participate in a more meaningful way.”

Handler says a Netflix documentary is in the works where she will engage with “people of different ethnicities, religions and political philosophies.”

Handler launched “Chelsea” on Netflix last year after a seven-year run on E! hosting the nightly “Chelsea Lately,” which ended in 2014.

Handler says new episodes of “Chelsea” will stream each week until the end of the year.

Another Hollyweirdo who took time off to “focus on his activism” is Shia LaBeouf.

We wrote of LaBoeuf after his recent arrest:

After the election of Donald Trump, he went on a tirade, and gave us the “He will not divide us” mantra.

He then decided to retire from acting, causing people to wonder if there was more to the issue. Considering what a cushy job he had, one would think he might just shut up and act.

However, over the weekend, police arrested LeBeouf for public intoxication. And while being arrested, guess who made racial slurs to both the white and black cops? No, not Mel Gibson, but none other than Shia LaBeouf.

In vino veritas, indeed. In drunken stupor there is truth.

As reported by TMZ,

Shia LaBeouf verbally assaulted a white officer, telling him his wife watches porn and fantasizes about African-American male genitals. Shia was off the rails this weekend when he was arrested by Savannah cops for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. Shortly after arriving in handcuffs at the police station, Shia ranted to the cop that he must feel ashamed his wife prefers ‘black d***.

As we reported, Shia got downright racist during the fingerprinting process, telling a black cop he was going to hell because of his skin color.

Interesting “slam” of the white police officer, as he pulled the “Mandingo” card on the officer’s wife.

Hopefully Handler will understand why we might not believe her? After all, there is quite a bit of Trump Derangement Syndrome floating around Hollyweird these days. I suspect Handler is chasing a few ghosts?

Here’s a snippet of her biography:

An emerging comic talent, Handler wowed audiences with her brash and sometimes vulgar act. She portrayed herself as a hard-partying beauty with an acid tongue. In 2002, Handler got a part on the cable sketch comedy show Girls Behaving Badly. She went to make guest appearances on such shows as My Wife and KidsThe Practice and The Bernie Mac Show.

With her first book, My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands (2005), made her way on to the best-sellers list. She chronicled a number of her real-life sexual exploits in the book, which amused and sometimes stunned readers. The following year, she debuted her own series, The Chelsea Handler Show. Handler poked fun at celebrities as well as herself in the show’s skits and sketches.

No surprise that Handler touts her sexual conquests as a “career builder”.

Her recent departure from Netflix proves what happens when sex is no longer the bargaining tool in Hollywood. Maybe we will see Handler and D-Lister, what’s her name…oh, Kathy Griffin reprise something together?
