Weinstein OUT: Board of Directors Fires Sexual Predator

Finally, there is some real fallout over Harvey Weinstein’s decades of sexual deprivation.

The Weinstein Company’s board of directors of his company fired him.

And according a statement made on Sunday, the studio will be controlled by Weinstein’s brother, Bob Weinstein, and chief operating officer David Glasser

“In light of new information about misconduct by Harvey Weinstein that has emerged in the past few days, the directors of The Weinstein Company – Robert Weinstein, Lance Maerov, Richard Koenigsberg and Tarak Ben Ammar – have determined, and have informed Harvey Weinstein, that his employment with The Weinstein Company is terminated, effective immediately.”

Weinstein has been rocked by a devastating New York Times report documenting decades of legal settlements stemming from sexual harassment allegations leveled by former employees and associates, as well as accusations of improper sexual advances from actress Ashley Judd. The allegations extend back to Weinstein’s days running Miramax, an independent film studio that was then owned by the Walt Disney Co.

As the crisis worsened, Weinstein has lost key allies. His attorney Lisa Bloom resigned on Saturday, as did his advisor Lanny Davis, a former White House hand to Bill Clinton. One third of the all-male board quit on Friday, including billionaire investors Marc Lasry and Dirk Ziff, and Technicolor executive Tim Sarnoff. Weinstein was said to be furiously resisting efforts to force him out permanently.

Late-night comedians said nothing about Weinstein in the days following the very well-known “revelations” by the New York Times, that Weinstein had been sexually harassing women for decades.

In fact, Jimmy Kimmel actually defended Weinstein.

I responded with this.

Next, SNL who has consistently targeted Donald Trump over the Billy Bush tape did nothing on Weinstein. Recall, in this tape Donald Trump bragged that women allow men of his stature to grab them by the vagina. As we know now, Weinstein did far more, but SNL hypocritical silence.

There are rumors that Harvey Weinstein’s brother actually leaked the story the New York Times. If so, don’t consider it fratricide. What would you do if your brother had a serious problem of abusing women? That type of problem could ruin your company and reputation as well. I’d kick my brother to the curb!

As Jake Tapper tweeted, Weinstein’s problem was well-known in Hollywood.

TBS wrote of the common knowledge of Weinstein’s actvities:

According to the report, Weinstein has settled no fewer than eight sexual harassment complaints including actress Rose McGowan.

A former Weinstein Co. employee, Lauren O’Connor, detailed some of the allegations over a two-year period. However, Weinstein’s sexual predation is thought to have taken place over 25 years, between 1990 and 2015.

During much of this time Weinstein was married, using the institution as cover, pretending to be a “good guy”. Marriage was part of his ruse.

25 years of sexual abuse of women, and the media wants us to believe there are only eight women? Take Bill Clinton and Cosby rapes, add Tiger Wood affairs, and you won’t come close to the number of women this man abused. You can bet there are likely hundreds of others too embarrassed to admit what they did in order to acquire or further their careers.

Ironically, these are the same bitches who allowed this to occur to the next year’s batches, as country bumpkins descended on Hollyweird year after year. And these are the same harlots who decry Donald Trump, calling him a misogynist, while “not naming” him in their interviews.

I’m not sure if the board put any weight on Weinstein’s mea culpa, when he stepped down. But what an interesting statement.

Weinstein struggled in his “apology”, as he veered from contrition to combativeness. His initial statement to the Times acknowledged past mistakes. He then pledge to change his evil ways.

“I appreciate the way I’ve behaved with colleagues in the past has caused a lot of pain, and I sincerely apologize for it. Though I’m trying to do better, I know I have a long way to go.”

However shortly after making the “apology,” Weinstein’s attorney Charles Harder announced that he was preparing to sue the paper. He accused the Times of making “false and defamatory statements.”

I chuckle at this, because this tactic reeks of Leftism. Deny, deny DENY!

Next, Weinstein also declared that he was taking a leave of absence, only to continue appearing at work.

Finally, Weinstein then did the very expected, and announced that he would get the NRA, calling out Wayne LaPierre. He also took a shot at President Trump.

I am going to need a place to channel that anger, so I’ve decided that I’m going to give the NRA my full attention. I hope Wayne LaPierre will enjoy his retirement party. I’m going to do it at the same place I had my Bar Mitzvah. I’m making a movie about our President, perhaps we can make it a joint retirement party.

Nice try, Harvey.

At least some small justice has occurred, as the board finally put its foot down. Now let’s see if the rest of Leftist America has a moral core.
