Trump BAITS MEDIA: Monumental Fail by CBS Ensues [VIDEO]
When President Trump’s ideas become mainstream, the Left are in serious trouble.
And that recently happened.
As the Democrats attempted to sell the Trump tax plan as Armageddon, the media regaled us with polling to support the notion.
In the old days, those tactics would have been good enough to potentially kill legislation. What wasn’t killed would be so dramatically altered that it would not even resemble the original plan.
That didn’t happen with the tax bill, as it passed reasonably close to what President Trump envisioned. Thus, the media needed to prove that plan wouldn’t work. Thus CBS tested Trump’s tax plan:
“We asked an accountant to crunch the numbers for three working families to see how much they could be saving. Tony Dokoupil reports.”:
CBS picked three families with differing incomes from different areas of the country to see how the cuts would affect them. I know that one of the couples was from a state that has a big state income tax: California.
Undoubtedly CBS hoped to validate the nonsense spewed by the Leftists bureaucrats. The cries of woe would be seen and heard nationally, once CBS got the results back.
CBS hired an accountant to examine last year’s tax returns of three families, using the same income, etc. Shockingly, all three families received refunds.
What’s most interesting is why CBS didn’t pan the report. Were they distancing themselves from other Leftist fake news outlets? Perhaps. Or is this yet another sign of changing times?
How many lies have been told about President Trump?
We recently chronicled an Obama spokesperson who found himself marveling at the prowess of Trump:

Former Obama State Department spokesman John Kirby, a retired Rear Admiral in the U.S. Navy, appeared on CNN for an interview. Kirby speaks to Wolf Blitzer, and shocks the CNN audience with his assessment of Trump’s foreign policy efforts in North Korea.
Partial Transcript:
WOLF BLITZER: “You do give the president some credit for squeezing the Chinese to put some pressure on North Korea.”
JOHN KIRBY: “I do…absolutely do. I mean, Him and his team, they have — look, if you told me a year ago, Wolf, that the Chinese would cut off all natural gas, that they would cut off importing seafood from North Korea, that they would put pressure on the oil exports to North Korea to the degree that they have, I would have laughed at you.
I didn’t think that that was possible. This administration has been able to do that. Now, again, there’s more work needs to be done. I am encouraged when I hear Secretary Mattis and Secretary Tillerson talk about diplomatic efforts being in the lead, and the fact that there’s still maneuver space to explore diplomatic options. That makes me feel a little bit better.”
Recall how the Left positioned Donald Trump as a hothead. Trump, they declared should not be trusted with the “football”; the nuclear switch. This type of talk has continued.
So now what for the Democrats?
More grief. No, actually much more grief.
They pretend to be excited about 2018. In fact, nothing can be further from the truth.
Defections by the media will continue, as will defections from high-level Democrats like Kirby. Soon, America will see the “perp walk” taken by many Leftists.
The doom and gloom planned for Trump will soon weigh heavy on the shoulders of the Democrats.
