Leftist Democrats are having difficulty explaining these latest developments. The Obama administration FBI is crooked…period.
But you won’t see Wapo/CNN polls on Democrat defectors. Because that news would be too bad to report to the rubes on the Left. Regardless, soon the suicide hotline will smoke with Leftists having to be talked off the ledge.
As we learned recently,
More than 50,000 texts were exchanged between two FBI officials who have come under fire for exchanging anti-Trump messages during the 2016 election, Attorney General Jeff Sessions revealed Monday.
The figure surfaced as lawmakers have been pressing for answers after revelations that the FBI “failed to preserve” five months of texts between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
“We will leave no stone unturned to confirm with certainty why these text messages are not now available to be produced and will use every technology available to determine whether the missing messages are recoverable from another source,” Sessions said in a statement provided to Fox News. “If we are successful, we will update the congressional committees immediately.”
“After reviewing the voluminous records on the FBI’s servers, which included over 50,000 texts, the Inspector General discovered the FBI’s system failed to retain text messages for approximately 5 months between December 14, 2017 to May 17, 2017,” Sessions said.
And there is still the matter of the “missing text” between the two anti-Trump FBI lovers.
As much as the Left tried to give Obama “plausible deniability”, at some point they must admit (1) he knew about the shenanigans, or (2) he’s the brain-dead moron Conservatives know him to be.
(2) is an easy play, given Obama’s declaration that he had a “scandal-free” administration. However, knowing how Obama plays politics, I suspect (1) is more applicable. Because Conservative America knows, and Leftist America will soon learn that Obama is a criminal of the highest order.
Rep. Ratcliffe and Trey Gowdy spoke with Fox News after the news broke about the 50,000 new text messages.
Ratcliffe commented,
“What we learned today in the thousands of text messages that we’ve reviewed that perhaps they may not have done that (checked their bias at the door). There’s certainly a factual basis to question whether or not they acted on that bias. We know about this insurance policy that was referenced in trying to prevent Donald Trump from becoming president.”
“We learned today from information that in the immediate aftermath of his election that there may have been a ‘secret society’ of folks within the Department of Justice and the FBI to include Page and Strzok to be working against him.”
No surprise there. But now the FBI pulls a “Hillary Clinton email server scenario”?
“Hmmm, where exactly did we put those 50,000 text messages, particularly the messages of the two investigators who plotted FOR Clinton and AGAINST Trump?!”
Further, as the dots get connected, guess who returns to focus? If you guessed, “Honest” James Comey, you’d be correct. The more we learn about this creep, the more we know how big a part he played in this cover-up.
But the bigger creep is Barack Obama. Let’s see how history looks back on his presidency once the veil is pulled back.
The Left continue to try provide cover. However at some point they will realize their desperation.
Recently the 99-page FISA document leaked, and appears to be the genesis of the 4-page memo referenced by Nunes and others. So the clock ticks on the Left.
What will Leftists learn of their former champion? Likely, the worst. Which is why Democrats fight tooth and nail to keep information from getting to the public. No more “leaks”, since now the so-called “investigation” into Russian collusion sits squarely on the weak shoulders of the Left.
But consider all that looms for the Democrats.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz will soon face the music for her connection to the Awan Brothers. That story has all the intrigue of a spy thriller, and will be just as damaging to the Democrats. The idea that a Congresswoman allowed Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of the nations computer systems?
Then what of Hillary Clinton’s purchase of the DNC? Will the Democrats clean up their own mess? Doubtful.
Anybody heard from the Podesta brothers? We will revisit their connection to the Russians, and what part they played in the Uranium One deal. And in the case of Podesta, all roads lead back to the Clintons.
Who else will fall? Susan Rice, likely based on her participation in the FISA court scandal. Huma Abedin, her obvious ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, and the classified information found on her husband’s laptop. Cheryl Mills and a host of FBI agents complicit in the cover-up for Hillary Clinton.
James Comey recently “lawyered up”, as he heard the tick-tock of the justice clock.
All the signs are there, and many more will come, and come quickly.
