Desperate Democrats: Election Blame Shifts from Putin to New Russians
When you think things couldn’t get any more ridiculous, the Democrats prove you wrong.
Top Democrats crafted a letter to Facebook and Twitter wanting answers. They want to know how #ReleaseTheMemo started trending on social media.
It certainly couldn’t be because Americans want to know what’s in the memo, as the hashtag demands. So for the Left, there can only be one explanation. The Russians did it.
The Twitter hashtag is the result of a four-page summary over Devin Nunes’ investigation into the FBI and Justice Department’s use of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or FISA. Republicans on Capitol Hill believe it’s time to let the cat out of the bag, so to speak. They’ve called for a full release of the memo, and rightfully so. The American people deserve to see just how crooked not only Hillary Clinton was, but also the Obama administration as a whole.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders defended Republicans who want to see the memo released.
“We certainly support full transparency and we believe that is at the House Intel committee to make that decision at this point,” Sanders said. “It sounds like there are some members in the House that have some real concerns with what is in that memo and feel very strongly that the American public should be privy to see it.”
Despite no evidence, and actually a fake dossier, Democrats attempted to tie Donald Trump to some Russian conspiracy. This memo could potentially clear things up. And that’s what the Democrats fear most.
Thus, with the threat of the truth emerging, the Democrats run to a new Russian conspiracy: bots. Russian bots.
Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, and Dianne Feinstein, the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee got together and crafted a plan to buy them some time. If they can just make it look like people aren’t demanding answers, then everything will be ok. At least that’s the lie they tell themselves. Meanwhile, they wrote this letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.

The letter claims recent Russian efforts attempted “to influence congressional action and undermine Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation.”
So, now the Russians aren’t just butting into the 2016 Presidential election, but they thwart Mueller’s “investigation”?
As Fox News elaborates:
Schiff and Feinstein, both California lawmakers, suggested that a trending Twitter hashtag, #ReleaseTheMemo, got a strong boost from Kremlin-linked groups.
However, sources familiar with Twitter’s internal analysis told The Daily Beast that the trending hashtag “appears thus far to be organically American” not Russian.
Several prominent Republicans have called for the four-page memo to become public. They have suggested that it contained damning evidence the Obama administration used FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) warrants to spy on the Trump campaign as well as his transition team ahead of the president’s swearing-in.
The memo “was deeply disturbing as anyone who’s been in law enforcement and any American will find out once they have the opportunity to review it,” Rep. Dave Joyce, R-Ohio, said. “Part of me wishes that I didn’t read it because I don’t want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much,” Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., added.
The letter went on to say that if it were true the Kremlin was behind the online campaign, “we are witnessing an ongoing attack by the Russian government through Kremlin-linked social media actors directly acting to intervene and influence our democratic process,” adding that it would be the “latest example of Russian interference.”
The Democrats obviously think Americans are stupid. But we are not.
Although Twitter did recently suspend more than 1,000 Russian-links accounts, that was a cover-up in itself. The #ReleaseTheMemo trend is based on millions of Americans who demand to see what the criminal Democrats have done. With this ploy Democrats merely attempt to silence conservatives.
Project Veritas just put the Twitter algorithms on blast with his latest expose. In an undercover sting, Project Veritas showed how low-level peons at Twitter target Conservatives and trending hashtags. In one case, they even discussed stealing private tweets from the President.
I say to Democrats, “Your desperation shows!” And all the finger-pointing to Russians, human or bots, won’t help when the truth is unmasked about that unscrupulous bunch of scoundrels.
