What Happened to Michael Wolff Author of ‘Fire and Fury’?
Just days ago, Michael Wolff was the darling of the fake news media. The guy was more popular than the Chelsea Handler in a room full of horny men.
But now, nothing. Where art thou Michael?
The left touted Michael’s new book Fire and Fury as the Bible truth about Donald Trump. And in one interview with MSNBC host Katy Tur, Wolff discussed his depiction of President Donald Trump as an incompetent child whose top aides “all have questioned his fitness for office.” This led Tur to congratulate Wolff on his “president hating”.
“Michael Wolff, it is a fascinating book,” Tur said at the end of their interview. “Fire and Fury. As you can see, I did read it. Congratulations on the book, and congratulations on the president hating it.”
“Thank you,” Wolff said.
So the echo chamber gleefully ran with the narrative that Trump was unhinged, mentally ill, and unfit for office. Michael himself even declared that his book would finally be the end to the Donald Trump presidency.
That’s the background to the perception and the understanding that will finally end this – that will end this presidency,” he said.
Well look who got “ended”.
Wolff pipe dream suddenly became his nightmare, when President Trump fought back. Trump declared Wolff a hack, no nickname needed. Then suddenly people decided to look a bit more into Wolff’s “inside look” at the White House.
In what may have been his worst interview, Wolff is asked by CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell. Because some of his most incendiary comments are based on interviews he supposedly did with cabinet members, O’Donnell asked if Wolff had spoken to anyone in Trump’s cabinet.

“Did you speak to any members of the president’s Cabinet for this book?” CBS host Norah O’Donnell, asked him.
Wolff responded, “I did not.”
Wolff then reiterated claims he’d spent nearly three hours with the president for the book. O’Donnell said, “The president denies he ever spoke to you for this book, at all.”
Wolff responded, “I probably think he had no idea he was speaking to me for this book. When I would meet the president in the White House we would chat as though we were friends.”
“But that’s not an interview, to greet someone and say, ‘Hello,’” O’Donnell responded. “That’s not a journalistic exercise.”
And then came the book reviews.
In his own description of the book Wolff exposed he was aware of a lot of inaccuracies between the people he interviewed. But that didn’t stop Wolff. He decided to leave them in the book anyway leaving it for the reader to “judge” whether or not they were true.
Several of his sources, he says, were definitely lying to him, while some offered accounts that flatly contradicted those of others.
“Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are in conflict with one another; many, in Trumpian fashion, are baldly untrue. These conflicts, and that looseness with the truth, if not with reality itself, are an elemental thread of the book.
“Sometimes I have let the players offer their versions, in turn allowing the reader to judge them. In other instances I have, through a consistency in the accounts and through sources I have come to trust, settled on a version of events I believe to be true.”
Journalists chimed in, saying that Wolff depictions of what they said were equally unsettling, and thus the die was cast.
Like the revelation from Fusion GPS that they had no inside mole to the Trump campaign, such was true with Wolff. He had as much exposure to the Trump team as the Fed-Ex delivery person for the White House.
Yet again, Leftists display their utter desperation to paint President Trump as some deranged madman. But in the end, the media looks like the imbeciles they are.
Now the media “sh*tholes” have move on. They renew their calls of Trump as a racist and xenophobe. Next, we will hear of more allegations of sexual misconduct. And again, nothing will come of it.
Michael Wolff was the Leftists’ GOD for a week, Fire and Fury their bible. But now, another Leftist god have been banished to some cosmic prison. His book will be used as a fake news reference for the uninformed minions, when the Left need to remind people that the best first-year president in modern history is unhinged.
2018 will make President Trump the best second-year president in modern history. Sadly for the Left, Trump will accomplish this by spring. That won’t stop the Left from their delusion of a win in November. They will reference “history” of mid-terms, as if the rules apply to President Trump and this next election.
The day after the election, the truth will sink in for Leftists. They will be defeated. And eventually Michael Wolff will be a distant memory, as he should have been from the beginning.
