DOJ Official Hid Fusion GPS Bribe on Ethics Report

DOJ Official Didn’t Report Fusion GPS Bribe on Ethics Report

Another ethics violation from the left further discredits the Trump dossier.

A DOJ official intentionally hid payments (ok, bribe) his wife received from Fusion GPS.

In the real world, the discussion of Trump collusion would be a joke. Also, at least 20 high-profile Democrats would be rotting in prison. But America hasn’t been part of the real world for decades. Instead we’ve been a cesspool run by swamp rats.

As The Daily Caller reports,

Bruce Ohr, the Department of Justice official who brought opposition research on President Donald Trump to the FBI, did not disclose that Fusion GPS, which performed that research at the Democratic National Committee’s behest, was paying his wife, and did not obtain a conflict of interest waiver from his superiors at the Justice Department, documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation show.

The omission may explain why Ohr was demoted from his post as associate deputy attorney general after the relationship between Fusion GPS and his wife emerged and Fusion founder Glenn Simpson acknowledged meeting with Ohr. Willfully falsifying government ethics forms can carry a penalty of jail time, if convicted.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) hired Fusion GPS to gather and disseminate damning info about Trump, and they in turn paid Nellie Ohr, a former CIA employee with expertise in Russia, for an unknown role related to the “dossier.” Bruce Ohr then brought the information to the FBI, kicking off a probe and a media firestorm.

This wasn’t an accidental omission. Instead this was a blatant attempt to hide this information.

And now that we know the connections between all the players, it’s clear that Ohr understood the storm this bribe would create for him and the FBI.

Without all the players, the fake dossier would be discovered. And that discovery would upend the FBI and the Obama administration’s plan to keep Trump from getting elected.

Thus, pre-election, Leftist treated the dossier like the Holy Grail. Without Fusion GPS, Democrats couldn’t execute their nefarious plot. In the end, their Holy Grail turned out to be the Unholy Grail. So now they pay the price.

Short recap:

The DNC and Obama were certain they could throw the election to Hillary. When their first attempts to wiretap Trump’s campaign failed, the dossier conveniently appeared. Then the DOJ used the dossier to obtain a warrant to wiretap a Trump adviser. Of course, he left out a few facts.

For example, the DOJ failed to disclose to the judge that the DNC and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s campaign had funded the research. Further, Ohr had a financial relationship with the firm that performed it. And as it turns out, Ohr doesn’t appear to have told his supervisors about his conflict of interest.

This is where things get interesting. Back in September, John Carlin, head of DOJ National Security Division and involved with FISA requests, announced his resignation.

Then, Glen Simpson of Fusion GPS admitted to hiring the former Deputy AG’s wife to help investigate Trump. By January, it was Game Over when Fusion GPS admitted there’s no smoking gun. They didn’t have a mole in the Trump Administration. Furthermore,

Finally, Simpson spilled the beans. The dossier was based on his own hatred of Trump and not facts.

Now, we have the last piece of the puzzle.

There’s no Russian collusion. There are only angry leftists. And they’re as crooked as they are disappointed.

As the Daily Caller continues:

For 2014 and 2015, Bruce Ohr disclosed on ethics forms that his wife was an “independent contractor” earning consulting fees. In 2016, she added a new employer who paid her a “salary,” but listed it vaguely as “cyberthreat analyst,” and did not say the name of the company.

The instructions require officials to “Provide the name of your spouse’s employer. In addition, if your spouse’s employer is a privately held business, provide the employer’s line of business.” As examples, it gives “Xylophone Technologies Corporation” and “DSLK Financial Techniques, Inc. (financial services).” The dollar amount does not need to be disclosed. “Report each source, whether a natural person or an organization or entity, that provided your spouse more than $1,000 of earned income during the reporting period,” they say.

Something tells me that all the money in the world couldn’t get the DOJ to turn on crooked Barack Obama.

But at least we know the going rate for some agents to turn on a Republican president.

According to Nellie Ohr, that rate is $50,000. A bargain, considering what Andrew “Andy” McCabe got by way of his wife. I believe the Clintons gave Jill McCabe $700,000 for “her campaign” {wink}. It’s amazing how easy it is to bribe with other people’s money.

But those payments left a paper trail. And that paper trail proves the DNC, the dossier, the Clintons, Obama’s administration, and Fusion GPS are nothing but frauds.

I give you PAY-TO-PLAY in all its Leftist glory!
