Two More DOJ-FBI Investigators Mentioned in FBI Texts Quit

Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller may be forced to shut down his investigation soon.

Because he will run out of rats.

According to Politico,

Two more senior government officials who were prominently discussed in text messages exchanged by FBI personnel formerly assigned to the Trump-Russia investigation are leaving their positions.

Mike Kortan, FBI assistant director for public affairs, is set to retire next week, an FBI spokeswoman confirmed. In addition, the chief of the Justice Department’s Counterintelligence and Export Control Section, David Laufman, resigned this week, a department spokesman said.

Laufman, 59, helped oversee the controversial probes of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server and Russian interference in the 2016 Election. Given all that we’ve learned of those “probes”, one can only surmise that Laufman is getting his pension while he can.

An experienced federal prosecutor, in 2014 Laufman became chief of the National Security Division’s Counterintelligence and Export Control Section. He cited personal reasons for his resignation.

“It’s tough to leave a mission this compelling and an institution as exceptional as the Department of Justice. But I know that prosecutors and agents will continue to bring to their work precisely what the American people should expect: a fierce and relentless commitment to protect the national security of the United States.”

Note that Laufman donated to Barack Obama’s presidential campaigns.

Further, as for his role in the Department of Justice, Laufman was one of the holdovers, ergo a  swamp rat.

For those who question the witch hunt by the Obama administration, still claiming legitimacy for the effort, note the number of sudden departures.

Former FBI special agent Josh Campbell recently quit the bureau to join CNN. Campbell felt pressure due to the increasing levels of criticism directed at the agency. In a New York Times op-ed, Campbell wrote,

“To be effective, the F.B.I. must be believed and must maintain the support of the public it serves. … These political attacks on the bureau must stop.”

“If those critics of the agency persuade the public that the F.B.I. cannot be trusted, they will also have succeeded in making our nation less safe”

If this sounds familiar, it’s because those are the Democrat talking points.

As for other high-level resignations, recall that Deputy Director Andrew McCabe stepped down January 29th.

According to CNBC,

“McCabe, who served a brief stint as acting director of the bureau, was already expected to leave. He will stay on ‘terminal leave’ until he is eligible to retire with benefits in March.”

Interesting, given that the Washington Post reported that McCabe intended to resign from the FBI once in March, staying on to get his full pension and benefits.

We will be sure to apply that pension to his prison store purchasing card.

Americans know what we witness. We watch as the crooks in the Obama administration expose themselves as such, one by one. And there will be many more.

2018 represents Year Two of exposing the Democrat crooks, and the worst year ever for the party. And we’re just getting started.

We will update you as more rats jump ship. Also, we will update as the noose tightens around the many DC Democrats’ necks, including Barack Obama’s.

I predicted Trump would give the Democrats enough rope with which to hang themselves. They unwittingly obliged.
