FL Bridge Collapse: Metaphor of Obama Era Policies

How much did Obama drone on about roads and bridges?

So much so, that our team actually created a British character, Rhoadson Bridges, to mock Obama and other Leftists.

The Democrats complained endlessly about the need to address infrastructure in America, specifically roads and bridges. These morons claimed that business would not exist without roads and bridges. Thus capitalist, ergo entrepreneurs owed their fortunes to government for building roads and bridges.

The Leftist clowns spent $192 million bragging about their larceny, as they robbed the America public of yet more funding for roads and bridges. Ironically, these are the same clowns that fight against President Trump’s wall, but I digress.

All the money that went into roads and bridges and what do we have to show for it. Horrible roads and bridges that kill.

As Fox News reported,

Several fatalities were reported after a newly installed pedestrian bridge at Florida International University collapsed Thursday, leaving eight vehicles trapped under the sprawling wreckage.

The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed to Fox News there were several fatalities after the structure, touted as an “Instant Bridge,” collapsed around 1:30 p.m. at the Miami-area university.

I wonder if FIU named it’s School of Engineering after Barack Obama?

Look, I get that this wasn’t a government project, per se. But it might as well have been. Our tax dollars fund the university where the bridge was constructed.

And the collapse of the bridge reminds me of much of the Left.

For example, the Barack Obama’s legacy. If anything has collapsed killing some and injuring others, it’s the fake news narrative that Barack Obama had a great presidency. Talk about a bridge to nowhere. And in light of the new evidence of what he did to prevent a Trump presidency, I suggest the engineers of the bridge at FIU begin looking for a sinkhole.

Another metaphor of the bridge collapse is Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. Somebody dynamited her bridge to nowhere. Hillary Clinton had the presidency in the bag, twice. In both cases, men came from nowhere to pound her bridge to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue into the rubble. No deaths when Obama and Trump pummeled Clinton, but lots of carnage.

Want more?

How about the Trump-Russia Collusion narrative? Adam Schiff continues his attempt to cross that bridge, but to no avail. I think I saw his dead horse lying in the crumbled concrete. Ultimately, the Russian Collusion will spin back on the Left where people have died attempting to expose Hillary Clinton. But more are due to get hurt in the collapse, people like Comey, McCabe, Strzok, and so on.

We don’t have the final toll in the bridge collapse at FIU, but according to Fox News at least 10 people have been impacted:

Officials from the Kendall Regional Medical Center in Tamiami said during a news conference that the hospital has taken in 10 patients — two of them in “extremely critical” condition. The other eight are in stable condition.

Believe it or not, the university touted this bridge.

It was built to connect the campus to the town of Sweetwater, where an estimated 4,000 students live. Why not build a supposedly easy path to a worthless education?

The structure is said to have cost $14.2 million, and was installed just last Saturday. The university called it a “one-of its-kind pedestrian bridge” that “swings” into place.

“FIU is about building bridges and student safety. This project accomplishes our mission beautifully,” President Mark B. Rosenberg said, according to a tweet by FIU.

Apparently, the bridge swings into place, but falls out of place.

How pathetic. $14.2 million down the drain, and at least 10 lives changed forever.

But you can bet the Left will figure out a way to forget this catastrophe, because that’s what they do. After all, there are guns to protest. Further, Leftists certainly won’t let up on President Trump, particularly now that he’s been completely cleared of partnering with the Russians.

The clean-up of the mess will cost millions. And so will the future lawsuits.

I’d certainly sue the university. Watch that video, and then heed the words of the president of the university. “Mission” accomplished? Let’s see how he walks this back.

Personally, I hope the university is forced to pay enough to shut down that cancerous institution of lower learning. If this were a school shooting, you can bet the Left would never let up. So what should we do with a school “bridging”? Sue, damnit!

If FIU remains open, they will build another Third World bridge, and this one will cost triple what the other one costs. The university will memorialize the bridge putting up plaques of the names of the dead or wounded and pretend to care about them.

In a decade, students won’t know it was a bridge collapse that harmed the students. They will be told that there was a shootout. White cops shot 10 black students on that very spot, thus the new bridge.

CNN will cover the story, and remind people of how racist America is.
