Mueller Stops Russian Investigation: Turns to Muslim Investigation

Democrats know the Russian narrative is a total bust, even if they won’t say it publicly.

According to Leftist logic, someone else had to interfere in the 2016 election. They know they did it. But now they must blame somebody else in order to keep the spotlight off the Democrats.

If only Hillary Clinton had done her job and won! Then the crooked, lying, thieving murdering could continue. But as the world knows by now, Hillary Clinton lost. And that loss opened a serious can of worms for the entirety of the Democrats.

Now Special Prosecutor Mueller has real problems. How can he slowly move away from the Trump-Russia collusion farce, and onto something else? It appears he may have figured things out.

As Fox News reported,

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team is now purportedly looking into whether the United Arab Emirates, with perhaps help from a top adviser, tried to gain political influence by putting money into Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign — a tack that would indicate Mueller’s investigation continues to expand beyond whether campaign officials colluded with Russia.

Mueller’s investigators in recent weeks have questioned the adviser, Lebanese-American businessman George Nader, and asked witnesses for information about whether the UAE tried to buy political influence by giving money to the Trump campaign, according to The New York Times.

Grasping at Straws

It is already known that Nader is a frequent visitor to the White House. Further, Trump praised the UAE for efforts from the Persian Gulf nation to collaborate with the U.S. on both economic issues and combating terrorism.

Just last week, Trump expressed thanks to the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed for their joint efforts. Nevertheless, since Nader advises the Crown Prince, Mueller thinks he found an ace in the hole.

According the New York Times:

In recent weeks, Mr. Mueller’s investigators have questioned Mr. Nader and have pressed witnesses for information about any possible attempts by the Emiratis to buy political influence by directing money to support Mr. Trump during the presidential campaign, according to people with knowledge of the discussions.

The investigators have also asked about Mr. Nader’s role in White House policymaking, those people said, suggesting that the special counsel investigation has broadened beyond Russian election meddling to include Emirati influence on the Trump administration. The focus on Mr. Nader could also prompt an examination of how money from multiple countries has flowed through and influenced Washington during the Trump era.

It’s impossible to say just how much Mueller’s inquiry is tied to the Russian investigation. From this (and every other) vantage point, most people would say nothing. Unfortunately for Mueller, he’s starting to look a bit desperate to save face.

What’s Next?

What other asinine things should Mueller investigate while he’s still special counsel? I’m sure given the chance Mueller would connect the sale of Girl Scout cookies to Trump-Russia collusion. President Trump likes to eat tacos, so maybe Mueller should investigate collusion with Mexico. Also, the Italians are already building a monument to honor President Trump. Thus, Mueller may want to look into possible collusion with Italy.

Yes, this “Russian” investigation truly has become this ridiculous. Apparently Mueller feels that if he continues this farce, he will get something to stick. But there is another possibility.

I believe Mueller knows definitively that his case is over. In a recent poll, one percent of Americans consider the Russian probe something they would consider in the next election. This actually works out well for the Democrats. Because when the farce spins back on them for their obvious collusion with Russia, they likely bank on the notion that nobody will care.

Even if you did believe that the UAE funneled money to the Trump campaign, that would be a wholly separate investigation than Russia. So why doesn’t the Justice Department step in and shut this down? Good question.

And now that the Republicans demand a second special counsel, Mueller may find himself under the microscope a bit. Because the obvious Russian collusion occurred with the Democrats. And as soon as one of those rats goes down, the whole ship of them follows.
