Petrified Swamp Rats: President Trump Goes on the Offensive

The Left kept poking the lion, and now he has roared.

President Trump officially launched his campaign, and I’m not talking about 2020. He launched his campaign of seek and destroy all the Leftists who attempted the coup. Soon I suspect he will even start using that word.

As NBC reported:

President Donald Trump said on Sunday he would demand an investigation into whether the FBI had placed surveillance on his 2016 campaign — and whether such activity was ordered by members of the Obama administration.

Ramping up a public war of words between the Oval Office and the law enforcement agency, the president said that he would formally request the Department of Justice probe the FBI’s role in investigating his campaign. His remarks come amid reports that the agency had placed a confidential informant somewhere in the Trump campaign’s orbit, while he was a still candidate.

So now the Department of Justice must act. And that didn’t take long.

The article continues,

In a statement, the Department of Justice said it would ask the Inspector General “to expand the ongoing review of the [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] application process to include determining whether there was any impropriety or political motivation in how the FBI conducted its counterintelligence investigation of persons suspected of involvement with the Russian agents who interfered in the 2016 presidential election.”

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein added that “if anyone did infiltrate or surveil participants in a presidential campaign for inappropriate purposes, we need to know about it and take appropriate action.”

You can bet that many Leftists now feel the walls closing in on them. Thus, they pull out all the stops.

The dominance of social media, specifically Twitter is against this action by President Trump. This means Leftists sense the end is near.

While Mueller continues his charade, OIG Horowitz begins yet another damning investigation, and a real one.

After the scathing rebuke of The Clinton Foundation and the FBI’s handling of the email scandal, now America will soon get more truth. Be still my heart.

How will Trump react?

Well the tweet is telling. “I hereby demand” has already got the Left’s mini-balls in a tiny vice. The calls of Trump as a dictator resound again. But Trump won’t care.

Trump is officially on offense. He has made his first demand, and it’s a biggie.

The DOJ’s response commands introspection. Rod Rosenstein’s comment interests me quite a bit. I read it as a warning for Leftist swamp rats to pack their bugout bags and get ready to run. That, or get ready for prison.

Trump’s next moves are easy to predict. He will bait the Left, particularly the media. After all, haven’t they been asking to get to the bottom of the investigation?

Naturally, when you get to the bottom of corruption, you find bottom-dwellers, aka Leftist swamp rats.

I figure President Trump will call them out one by one soon. Yes, on Twitter! And one by one you will begin to see the dominoes fall.

We can speculate on who goes first, and some have already laid odds.

McCabe, Strzok, Page, perhaps. Regardless of who represents Patient One, we no longer have to speculate on whether people get indicted.

Typically on these types of announcements, James Comey, Eric Holder, and others chime in. On the recent announcement, and of this writing nary a peep from either of these two Democrat rodents.

From history, I know all of the Obama Crime Syndicate have mostly huddled in person. Others call into the meeting with burner phones. These crooks collude on talking points, in hopes of setting yet another fake narrative.

CNN’s Don Lemon already provided some cover, saying a one-year investigation is nothing. In his interview of former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper revealed that a spy in the Trump campaign was for Trump’s own good.

Nobody will buy this nonsense.
