Andrew McCabe hangs around like political voyeur, caught in the act.
How he’s managed to stay alive is a testament to his tenacity. How he’s managed to stay out of jail boggles the mind.
In this latest development where one of his swamp rat friends is under fire, McCabe interestingly decided to chime in.
According to The Hill, the disgraced former FBI Deputy Director said Monday that if reports that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will soon resign or be fired, it could put special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian election interference “at risk.”
At risk for what? For the TRUTH coming out!
Did SCOTUS make the right decision on medical mandates for large businesses?
All this chatter about Rosenstein is a test for Democrats to see what they should support. After all, it was the New York Times who outed McCabe. Translated: the Democrats have a traitor in their midst.
I love how they spun this.
Reports emerged Monday morning that Rosenstein, who is overseeing the probe into Russian efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election, is expected to depart the Justice Department, though it’s unclear if he will resign or be fired.
Reports emerged? This was a leak, just like the leak that led to where Rosenstein finds himself under fire.
“If the rumors of Deputy AG’s Rosenstein’s departure are true, I am deeply concerned that it puts that investigation at risk,” McCabe said in a statement.
The investigation is undoubtedly at risk.
With Rosenstein unable to provide cover for Mueller, we might actually get to the truth. And that is a serious risk for the Democrats!
What McCabe said next is laughable.
“There is nothing more important to the integrity of law enforcement and the rule of law than protecting the investigation of Special Counsel Mueller…I sacrificed personally and professionally to help put the investigation on a proper course and subsequently made every effort to protect it.”
No truer words have been spoken.
McCabe indeed tried to protect this witch hunt. And he failed. This is why eventually he will end up in prison or taking a plea deal to turn state’s evidence.
What the New York Times leak proves is not everybody associated with this investigation likes what they see happening with the swamp rat-infiltrated Deep State. One can only imagine how scared the Democrats are of their Deep Throat.
