Let the investigation into the attempted lynching of SCOTUS Justice Brett Kavanaugh begin!
Prediction: In a few weeks Democrats will no longer discuss impeaching Kavanaugh for two reasons:
First, Democrats have NO chance of winning the House. Any thinking otherwise is merely wishful thinking.
Second, any investigation into the fiasco of the Kavanaugh witch hunt will hurt powerful Democrats.
While Senator Dianne Feinstein offers the obvious choice as culprit in the Kavanaugh farce, as it turns out, Chuck Schumer (D-NY) looks even more guilty than she. So says Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AK).
Cotton revealed to conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt that Schumer and his “political operation” were behind the leaking of Kavanaugh-accuser Christine Blasey Ford’s letter to the media.
“I believe the Schumer political operation was behind this from the very beginning,” declared Cotton.
“We learned last week that a woman named Monica McLean was Ms. Ford’s roommate, and she was one of the so-called beach friends who encouraged Ms. Ford to go to Dianne Feinstein and the partisan Democrats on the Judiciary Committee,” explained Cotton. “Well, it just turns out, it just so happens that Monica McLean worked for a Preet Bharara, the former U.S. Attorney in Manhattan, now a virulent anti-Trump critic on television and former counsel to Chuck Schumer.”
Is Schumer really the source of the infamous leak?
Ford supposedly requested to anonymous in her accusation of a decades-old sexual abuse claim against Kavanaugh. She sent her letter to Feinstein, and timelines prove that Feinstein sat on the letter for months. Nevertheless, Ford’s letter found its way to the press about two months later.
Obviously, the timing of the leak allowed Democrats to further delay the confirmation of Kavanaugh to the bench. Worse, the Democrats used the time in an attempt to smear Kavanaugh with the most outlandish tales of sexual debauchery.
Democrats attacked Kavanaugh with uncorroborated allegations of misconduct, including involvement in high school “gang rape rings”. When that failed, the Democrats then challenged his temperament.
When the dust settled, the Democrat lost; clearly the result of taking things way over the top.
The stories are so unbelievable that even Democrats themselves saw through the lies of Julie Swetnick. Those undeniable lies tainted both Deborah Ramirez, as well as Christine Blasey Ford. As the public became more circumspect of all three women, the lies became more distinct as well.
Many Democrats left the party, understanding how vile their party has become. But the real trouble for Democrats lies in what comes next.
Recently Senator Grassley requested a formal investigation into this matter. Because he undoubtedly smells rat.
Grassley sent a letter to Dr. Ford’s legal team late Thursday night asking for all of their communications with specific Democratic senators, the alleged witnesses to her getting assaulted, as well as the other alleged victims. Grassley specifically asked for all direct or indirect communications between Ford or her legal team and:
“(1) U.S. Senators or their staffs, particularly the offices of Senators Feinstein and Hirono, other than your communications with me and my staff in preparation for the September 27 hearing; (2) the alleged witnesses identified by Dr. Ford (Leland Keyser, Mark Judge, and Patrick “P.J.” Smyth); and (3) Debbie Ramirez, Julie Swetnick, or their representatives.”
The chairman did not specify what spurred this request, but does he need to. No connect-the-dots were required, given the massive number of dots.
I suspect Grassley will expand his request to Chuck Schumer shortly.
