Robert Mueller continues his witch hunt for one reason: when he stops, the Democrats are doomed.
The Democrats’ entire future rests on Mueller’s ability to perpetrate the illusion of Russian collusion.
This “investigation” is far past farce. Two years plus, and not one scintilla of evidence against Donald Trump or anybody associated with him. At least, not as it involves Russian collusion in our election.
Yet, all around Mueller lies evidence of Democrats colluding against Trump. And worse, there exists even more evidence of Democrat election meddling, but Mueller does nothing.
One might argue that doing something about Democrats cheating in the election is outside the scope of Mueller’s investigation. However, from most vantage points, Mueller’s investigation seems to cover everything.
Well, the end of the road approaches, as does the horizon.
President Trump has responded to Mueller’s “setup” questions, questions meant to ensnare Trump. They won’t.
According to Fox News:
President Trump on Tuesday submitted written answers to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s questions in the ongoing Russia investigation, marking a major milestone in the long-running probe as it seemingly nears its conclusion.
“The President today answered written questions submitted by The Special Counsel’s Office,” Jay Sekulow, Counsel to the president, said in a statement. “The questions presented dealt with issues regarding the Russia-related topics of the inquiry. The President responded in writing.”
Added Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani: “It has been our position from the outset that much of what has been asked raised serious constitutional issues and was beyond the scope of a legitimate inquiry. This remains our position today. The President has nonetheless provided unprecedented cooperation. The Special Counsel has been provided with more than 30 witnesses, 1.4 million pages of material, and now the President’s written responses to questions. It is time to bring this inquiry to a conclusion.”
Outside the White House Tuesday afternoon, Trump told reporters the announcement was coming, shortly before he departed to Mar-a-Lago in Florida for the Thanksgiving holiday.
America was teased with the notion that Mueller would issue his report on his investigative farce after the midterms. However, we have yet to see anything tangible.
We wrote recently of speculation that Mueller will issue dozens of new indictments, and I’m curious to know who got caught in this dragnet?
Scooby Doo? Daffy Duck? Spongebob Squarepants?
Because if the first set of indictments are any indication, the new ones will be just as laughable. The biggest fish Mueller got in the first round was George Papadopolous. And he claims he was set up.
I can’t say for sure, but I do know that General Mike Flynn was set up. And now he’s free, and rebuilding his life. I suspect, Flynn will want his comeuppance at the appropriate time.
One thing is certain, and that’s President Trump will lose no sleep over his answers to Mueller. Now will he lose sleep over Mueller’s actions to his answers.
Trump steadfastly maintains he had nothing to do with the Russians. And he didn’t.
But we do know that Hillary Clinton can’t make that claim. And the unveiling of her participation and that of others comes soon.
In fact, Hillary Clinton will soon testify before Congress, under oath about her server. She won’t get the handholding she got with crooked former FBI Director James Comey’s FBI. And despite Clinton being tougher than a $3 steak, she will crack under this questioning. Moreover, she won’t have the backup she enjoyed with the Deep State swamp rats provided cover.
Now we wait.
Mueller has his answers from President Trump, and now he needs to wrap things up. While Mueller won’t let Conservatives have our Merry Christmas, we will have an amazing 2019 watching Leftists do the perp walk.
