Border Security: Trump Has a Pair the Size of ALASKA

President Trump signaled to Democrats his willingness to take politics out of protecting American citizens.

While Pelosi and Schumer politicized defending America’s border, President Trump acts. And his latest act showcases that he means business.

So on the seventh day of the federal government shutdown, the president threatened to “close the Southern Border entirely”. He declared that if Democrats continue to reject his demands for fund to “finish” building a wall on the US-Mexico border, he would act.

Recently the president requested budget approval for just over $5 billion for the border wall. Predictably, Democrats rejected the offer. Instead, Democrats preferred to have the government shutdown. After all, this tactic worked well in the past. And there is a reason for this.

First, Democrats know that Republicans generally take the fall, even when Democrats act. Because Democrats historically controlled the media, they can spin events as they please.

Second, Americans have been made to believe that without government, the world comes to an end.

But it’s a new day during the Era of Trump. Government represents the Deep State. So the sooner we cut the head off the snake the better.

To bolster this point, Wayne Allen Root opines that nobody really misses the government during the shutdown:

As I write this, the government has been shut down for five days. Anyone notice? Me neither. Time flies when you’re having fun! Government is shut down, and it doesn’t affect most of us one bit. That’s why they call it “nonessential.” Maybe we should learn a lesson and fire these “nonessential” employees permanently.

On to the economy. Retail sales figures are out for Christmas. They are the best in many years. American consumers are buying like crazy. The media and economic “experts” preach doom and gloom all day about a collapsing stock market and a coming recession. Yet the Trump economic boom won’t cooperate. Retail sales are soaring — in the middle of a stock market crash. Gross domestic product is down slightly. But it’s still 3.4 percent — that’s double Obama’s typical GDP. You can’t stop Trump.

And that is precisely why liberals, D.C. swampers, deep staters, Never Trumpers, the liberal media and even the GOP establishment are so bitter, angry, hateful and negative toward Trump. They’re jealous. None of them could produce what Trump has produced.

This won’t end well for Democrats.

Instead of Trump showing signs of caving on the shutdown, he doubles or perhaps triples down.

Trump tweeted:

“We will be forced to close the Southern Border entirely if the Obstructionist Democrats do not give us the money to finish the Wall & also change the ridiculous immigration laws that our Country is saddled with. Hard to believe there was a Congress & President who would approve!”

Next the president tweeted a two-part message about the impact of closing the Southern border with respect to trade. This was not a warning to Americans, but a warning to Mexico.

The United States looses soooo much money on Trade with Mexico under NAFTA, over 75 Billion Dollars a year (not including Drug Money which would be many times that amount), that I would consider closing the Southern Border a “profit making operation.” We build a Wall or…..

Part II:

…..close the Southern Border. Bring our car industry back into the United States where it belongs. Go back to pre-NAFTA, before so many of our companies and jobs were so foolishly sent to Mexico. Either we build (finish) the Wall or we close the Border……

But the biggest issues for the Democrats are “The Ghosts of Democrats’ Past”?

There is no escape from the words of Democrats themselves. And with no control by the media, Democrats expose their partisanship, when it comes to doing what they claim they wanted.

Recall what Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said in 2009 about construction of hundreds of miles of fencing along the southern border? Let me help you.

Schumer said that fencing made the border “far more secure” as it created a “significant barrier to illegal immigration.”

Schumer made the remarks while addressing the 6th Annual Immigration Law and Policy Conference at Georgetown University. In his remarks he addressed what he felt it would take to get immigration reform through the Senate. He discussed seven principles he declared were needed for passage.

Partial transcript:

“The first of these seven principles is that illegal immigration is wrong, plain and simple,” Schumer said. “When we use phrases like ‘undocumented workers,’ we convey a message to the American people that their government is not serious about combating illegal immigration, which the American people overwhelmingly oppose.”

“People who enter the United States without our permission are illegal aliens, and illegal aliens should not be treated the same as people who entered the United States legally,” Schumer continued. “Any immigration solution must recognize that we must do as much as we can to gain operational control of our borders as soon as possible.”

I’m no fortune-teller, but I know the future of this one. Again, Trump wins.

He may have small hands, but he has balls the size of Alaska. And it doesn’t help that Democrats simply have no credibility on this issue.

Despite fake news polling, the majority of Americans understand walls keep most people out. We can deal with a trickle of illegals, but not floods of them.
