Democrats should just admit who they are. Partisan hacks who are pissed that Obama couldn’t fill the jock-strap of a 3-year old.
Let me put this another way: Donald Trump is a real president. And boy does that vex the Left. They look for every opportunity to pounce on Trump. Yet all he does is flick them off like lint on a silk suit.
In another crazy barrage of fake news media, NBC News proclaimed that Trump disregarded the troops.

Did SCOTUS make the right decision on medical mandates for large businesses?
How about that picture of Bush, to boot?
You know, the family of presidents whom the media hated, but who are now en vogue.
But NBC got it completely wrong, after having seen the President Trump call troops to wish them a Merry Christmas on Tuesday. They jumped the gun and reported the “insult” of not visiting.
However, the President and First Lady Melania Trump took a secret trip to Iraq on Christmas Day so they could greet the troops in person.
As one would suspect from such a visit, it wouldn’t be advertised. The AP confirmed,
“Trump’s trip was shrouded in secrecy. Air Force One flew overnight from Washington, landing at an airbase west of Baghdad under the cover of darkness Wednesday evening”.
Given the history of presidential visits and Trump’s feelings about the troops, one might surmise that he would visit. But not this fake news media crew.
Dinesh D’Souza put the story in perspective,
Actually @realDonaldTrump ‘s Iraq trip had been previously scheduled. So media pundits who scorned him for not visiting the troops were just plain wrong. Will these pathetic losers at least admit this simple fact?

CBS seemed to understand, as their White House correspondent Mark Knoller tweeted that it’s customary for such a trip to be “highly secretive” and closed off to the press.
“A presidential trip to Iraq is a highly secret movement. No advance notice to press other than press pool going along. Air Force One is boarded in privacy in hangar and departs under cover of darkness. All on board instructed to pull down window shades and surrender cell phones”
Former governor of Missouri, Matt Blount tweeted a quote from the Wall Street Journal:
“The point is that such gratuitously negative reporting undermines the credibility of the press without Mr. Trump having to say a word.” https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-constant-spin-zone-11545870180 …

As The Gateway Pundit reported,
President defended his decision to remove troops in Syria and said the US can use its base in Iraq to hit the terrorists.
President Trump took time meeting the troops and also signed at least one Make America Great Again hat at the Iraqi base.
One soldier told the Commander in Chief, “I came back into the military because of you.”
President Trump responded, “And I am here because of you.”

MSNBC panelist attacks President Donald Trump for visiting American troops in Iraq just moments after news broke that Trump made the surprise visit: "Look, I think it’s important that the president goes and visits the troops, but he’s doing this backwards." pic.twitter.com/MPkCiZjxpL

An MSNBC panelist attacked President Donald Trump on Wednesday for visiting U.S. soldiers stationed in Iraq just moments after news broke that the president made the surprise visit.
Mieke Eoyang, Vice President of Third Way National Security, made the remarks moments after news broke that the president and first lady made the trip.
“Look, I think it’s important that the president goes and visits the troops, but he’s doing this backwards,” Eoyang said. “His decision to pull out of Syria when the fight against ISIS is not quite finished … and then going to visit the troops after that.”
“Typically what you would want is a president to go out to visit the troops, see what’s going on on the ground, have conversations with his generals, actually meet with the secretary of defense, instead of slamming the door on him, and then make a decision about what the right thing is to do here,” Eoyang continued. “Instead, he’s done this all backwards. In fact, the way he’s done this, even if it is the right decision ultimately, the way that he’s done it will cause more chaos in the region, because it’s a precipitous withdrawal, not coordinated with our allies.”
The following day, NBC added this embarrassing editor’s note:
“On Wednesday, a day after this article was published, President Trump made a surprise visit to Iraq to greet U.S. troops. It was his first presidential visit to a combat zone.”
Again, the media refused to acknowledge their mistake. A simple “hey, this time we were wrong” would suffice. Instead, NBC hides behind a lawyerly definition of Christmastime, claiming the article is correct because Webster’s dictionary defines Christmastime as: “the time of year when people get ready for and celebrate Christmas : Christmas day and the days and weeks before it.”
But as the Washington Post correctly pointed out, “aren’t there 12 days of Christmas?” Of course, the fake news wouldn’t be complete without CNN’s contribution. Their Pentagon correspondent is butt-hurt because Trump signed a few MAGA hats.
I guess the media only wanted Trump to visit the troops if they despised him. Since they cheered on the Commander in Chief, we need to find another reason to call his visit a disaster.
