While the Left tries to spin everything happening with President Trump as bad news, it’s quite the opposite.
Consider what Trump teaches DC, that goes unnoticed. He’s given a clinic on being genuine. And while the media and other lying Leftists spin the president as a liar, he’s the most honest man in DC.
And Trump’s brutal honesty caused many Congressmen stepped down. Trump was a one-man term limiter. I won’t bother listing the quitters, but suffice it to say, DC is better for most of their departures.
But another thing Trump instilled in his staff is his appointments aren’t for the life of his administration. Get in, learn a lot, do a lot, then leave.
Former UN ambassador Nikki Haley represents Trumpism at its finest. She did a fantastic job in her role. When she left, she noted term-limits as one reason for her departure. Now, she’s positioned for much bigger and better.
Trump runs government like a business. So he expects turnover. Unlike Obama who hired derelicts who for the most part stayed forever. Under Obama, bureaucrats dug in like ticks. And they were just as useless.
Most of Trump’s people are accomplished. They know when their tenure should end, and they end it.
Let’s see how the media handles the latest departure. As Fox News reports:
President Trump announced Saturday that Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke will be stepping down from his post at the end of the year.
“Secretary of the Interior @RyanZinke will be leaving the Administration at the end of the year after having served for a period of almost two years,” he tweeted. “Ryan has accomplished much during his tenure and I want to thank him for his service to our Nation.”
Of course Leftists want people to believe that Zinke is crooked.
Zinke’s tenure has been marked by ethics inquiries and his involvement in a land deal in Montana that is backed by the chairman of Halliburton. The company has an interest in Department of Interior decisions on whether to open public lands for drilling. Zinke’s use of public funds for travel also has come under scrutiny.
This will most likely turn out to be much ado about nothing. But that won’t stop the buzzard media from circling. Sadly for the Left, America is used to their fake news narratives.
