In case you haven’t been following my musings on the Mueller investigation, here’s the latest.
Trump now investigates Mueller.
I wrote of Trump springing the Venus “Flynn” Trap:
As my grandmother would say, “Don’t be stupid your WHOLE life!”. But the Left never learns.
No matter how many times they get shocked by Donald Trump, Leftists continue to stick the metal fork in the power outlet.
Thus, they rinse and repeat. Russia revised.
One would think the tax return fiasco would have been enough, but they come back for more.
No connection has been found between Donald Trump and the Russians, not even tangentially. However, the Left persist to their detriment.
One would think that the recent Podesta revelations would have sent Leftists scurrying down their rat holes. As I wrote earlier this week, it was revealed that Podesta doesn’t just have ties to Russia, but he is, in fact, pregnant with Putin’s baby.
Today, the worm has turned. So now Mueller finds himself the target of an investigation, and President Trump performs his publicly.
And America gets full transparency as Trump puts Mueller under the microscope.
So what you witness now from Mueller is his attempt to clean up his and the Democrats’ messes.
As Fox News reported,
A sentencing memo that Special Counsel Robert Mueller filed in U.S. District Court in Washington Tuesday recommending little or no prison time for President Trump’s former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn doesn’t implicate the president in any wrongdoing.
The memo isn’t a “smoking gun” showing President Trump colluded with Russians to win the 2016 presidential election or did anything else illegal. In fact, the memo isn’t even a squirt gun…it amounts to nothing of any significance.
In recommending that Flynn – who served as President Trump’s national security adviser for just 24 days – get a sentence ranging from no prison time to six months at most, the memo filed by Mueller said Flynn has offered “substantial” help to investigators about “several ongoing investigations.”
“Given the defendant’s substantial assistance and other considerations set forth below, a sentence at the low end of the guideline range – including a sentence that does not impose a term of incarceration – is appropriate and warranted,” the memo states.
Remember when Democrats saw Flynn as their meal ticket to get to Trump? Sadly for them, the meal served was crow.
Here’s how ABC reported it:
Retired Lt. Gen Michael Flynn has promised “full cooperation” in the special counsel’s Russia investigation and, according to a confidant, is prepared to testify that Donald Trump directed him to make contact with the Russians, initially as a way to work together to fight ISIS in Syria.
Susan Rice actually said that Trump should have better vetted Flynn.
Leave it to the Left to put Susan Rice on national television to lecture Americans on responsibility and national security.
In a recent interview with CNN, Rice had the audacity to declare the Trump administration irresponsible. The claim centered around the vetting of Michael Flynn.
Rice’s comments come after White House press secretary Sean Spicer deflected blame for Flynn’s senior role by saying Flynn received his security clearance in the Obama administration.
Hard to believe the woman who got four Americans killed in Benghazi wants to discuss security at any level?
But the real irony is that Flynn worked in the Obama administration. So shouldn’t they have vetted him?
Months later, Mueller quietly let Flynn off the hook, when he delayed sentencing.
I wrote:
Special counsel Robert Mueller has requested the postponement of Flynn’s sentencing. As Zoe Tillman of BuzzFeed tweeted a statement from Mueller’s team:
“Due to the status of the Special Counsel’s investigation, the parties do not believe that this matter is ready to be scheduled for a sentencing hearing at this time.”

Looks to me like Mueller understands that he no longer has a case against Michael Flynn.
So Mueller went from Flynn being Patient Zero in the “Get Trump” scenario, to letting him walk?
Why bother indicting him, if he got absolutely NO PENALTY!
The answer is simple: Flynn was never guilty, and Mueller now must start picking up donkey droppings, as in Democrats’ sh*t.
I predicted Flynn will get his comeuppance:
With the help of the corrupt FBI, the dirty Democrats have bullied, threatened, and even ruined lives. In their zeal to take down President Trump, the Left screwed up.
General Michael Flynn began as a victim of their evil plot. However, now he finds himself the owner of prime real-estate: Democrats’ asses.
Thanks to the FISA memo and new information that continues to shine more light on the collusion within the Democratic Party, Flynn finds himself in an interesting spot. Imagine with his attorneys ask for discovery when he decides to put his life back in order.
I expect Flynn’s next leather briefcase will be made from the hocks of Hillary Clinton.
Recently, a Stipulated Motion was filed for Protective Order “Governing Discovery” by USA as to Michael Flynn. Put another way, the Flynn team is gathering new evidence to fight the charges, as Flynn now knows he was framed.
This little drama hasn’t ended, at least not for Mueller. Clean up on aisle 13, Bob!
