In case you haven’t noticed, on silly issues President Trump attacks them indirectly.
If you call him a racist, he does a few things that make you take pause. For example, one of the first things Trump did when he because president was to meet with leaders of black colleges and universities. He pledged more money than his black predecessor to keep those institutions afloat.
Next Trump posthumously pardoned the first black heavyweight champion. The black president refused to do so, because Johnson was said to have abused women. For Trump, freeing a black man imprisoned for marrying a white woman overshadowed the potential “optics” of his move.
In a real life pardon, Trump freed a black woman who was convicted of being a drug mule. Also, he appointed the first black female general in the Marine Corps.
Trump’s policies have more blacks employed than at any time in history. And to the surprise of Van Jones, Trump enacted real criminal justice reform. Jones commented that the only reason this monumental legislation occurred was because of the tenacity of Donald Trump.
I could go on, but you get the picture.
And Trump does the same when accused of being a misogynist. But his latest move has Democrats panicked, and for good reason.
The LGBTQ lobby may be more powerful than blacks, particularly if you measure to outcome. That group made tremendous strides under Obama, and thus their devotion to Democrats. But the issues of the LGBTQ are not just a political talking point for President Trump. He’s genuinely concerned about the rights of human beings not being based on their sexuality.
Thus, as NBC reports,
The Trump administration is launching a global campaign to end the criminalization of homosexuality in dozens of nations where it’s still illegal to be gay, U.S. officials tell NBC News, a bid aimed in part at denouncing Iran over its human rights record.
U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell, the highest-profile openly gay person in the Trump administration, is leading the effort, which kicks off Tuesday evening in Berlin. The U.S. embassy is flying in LGBT activists from across Europe for a strategy dinner to plan to push for decriminalization in places that still outlaw homosexuality — mostly concentrated in the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean.
“It is concerning that, in the 21st century, some 70 countries continue to have laws that criminalize LGBTI status or conduct,” said a U.S. official involved in organizing the event.
I love that Grenell, a staunch Conservative and great Republican leads this charge. A Trump appointee, backed by the most powerful person in the world.
Forget world peace. If Trump by way of Ambassador Grenell can change the hearts and minds of Islamist, what will this world become.
Understand that while Middle Eastern countries outlaw homosexuality, they practice it in a variety of ways. In fact, the rape of young boys is rampant in these countries.
Let’s see how Iran handles this, as former Iranian President Ahmadinejad declared that Iran has no homosexuals.
The ramifications state-side are startling
Imagine if America’s LGBTQ community learns that Trump has given them their humanity back. No longer would they need defend their freaky sex practices. They could simply be judged by the content of their character.
I’ve met Richard Grenell. He’s an amazing person whom I respect more than most of the bureaucrats I’ve known. He’s effective, and his wish for the gay community is not malicious as the wishes of Leftists gays tend to be. Grenell wants to humanize people, in this case gay people.
The fact that President Trump will help him lead the charge should make all Americans proud and Leftist Americans scared as hell.
The black vote is coming, led by many like me who fight daily to wake up the masses. And though the gay vote is small, it’s raucous. If Democrats lose their two biggest complainers, their party is doomed.
So take THAT, Jussie Smollett. President Trump has helped more blacks and gays in 2 years than Obama could help in a lifetime.
