Dr. Dre Celebrates Daughter’s Achievements, Sort Of

Dr. Dre is thrilled. His daughter is going to college. And he didn’t purchase her admission ticket.

Or so he tried to say on Instagram.

It’s time liberals come up with a new manual for how to lie and get away with it. The Russian story didn’t float. Jussie Smollett’s career was tossed out with last month’s trash. And now Dr. Dre can’t even pretend his daughter earned her way into college.

In fact, Dre’s post bragged “no jail time,” after expressing joy that his daughter got into college.

I guess he forgot about the $70 million donation he dished out a few years ago. Sure, his daughter wasn’t ready for college just yet. But that’s what they call planning ahead. It’s the age-old “friends of the university” advantage.

A true philanthropist would split $70 million among hundreds of community colleges and create infinite change for those trying to better themselves. Instead, this kind of pocket-padding is lined with ulterior motives. But, like Ice-T once said, don’t hate the playa, hate the game.

The true irony in all this is the fact that leftists pretend to be surprised. Take David Hogg, for instance.

He got into Harvard with the kind of scores that should’ve had him in remedial classes at the National Truck Driving School.

As we previously pondered:

While I don’t think Hogg utilized the services of the two Hollywood education madams, something is remiss.

And I’m not the only person who finds Hogg’s admittance suspicious. Check out this tweet from The College Fix:

David Hogg is heading to Harvard despite an SAT score of 1270. The bottom 25% at Harvard have an average SAT score of 1460. https://www.tmz.com/2018/12/21/parkland-marjory-stoneman-douglas-david-hogg-enrolling-harvard/

What could Harvard have considered in green-lighting Hogg?

Well there is all that social justice warrioring that Hogg did.

Hogg became one of the leaders of the March For Our Lives movement, which demands gun law reform and recruits young people into political activism. He formed his group after 17 kids were shot in a school where he attended. One of his friends in this endeavor actually admitted to bullying the young man who killed 17 of Hogg’s schoolmates.

After Hogg hit the big time, he took a gap year after graduating in June to focus on March For Our Lives instead of going directly to college. During this time Hogg was criticized for having been rejected by many colleges, with Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham mocking him.

As for the rest of this college admissions scandal:

You know the system is rigged when rich people scam to get their kids into college. The ironies abound.

Leftists claim to want “fairness” for the peons. Yet here we have two haute progressives, Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman, unleveling the playing field for kids of the wealthy.

Exactly why are these women not playing fair? Because the very system they created now dictates that white kids with better scores don’t get into college because some undeserving minority kid gets that slot.

And we wonder why our education system is the most openly elitist in the world. Maybe because despite these inadequacies, liberals say nothing.

Except for Dr. Dre… he was happy to elaborate about he fairness of his daughter’s college acceptance. Of course, it didn’t work out so well for Aunt Becky.

As Fox News explains:

YouTube star Olivia Jade reportedly blames her mother, Lori Loughlin, and her father, Mossimo Giannulli, for “ruining her life” with the now-notorious college admissions scandal.

Olivia Jade, 19, is “really angry with her parents because she told them she did not want to go to college and she was pushed,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.

“She has been passionate about her career and wanted to work and was doing well but that wasn’t enough,” the source said. “Her parents said she would have to juggle college and her career. Now she’s devastated because everything she built imploded before her eyes. She feels they ruined everything.”

Apparently, entitled brats don’t really appreciate the entitlements, which doesn’t sound like money well spent.
