Bernie Sanders spent 2016 working to put Hillary in office.
Now, he’ll spend eternity trying to separate his name from hers. I guess Bernie didn’t get the warning. If you’re gonna dance with the devil, prepare to burn.
There’s really no love lost between these two. It started out as sunshine and bubbles. They both wanted to be president. And they’re both socialists. Further, they both attack the rich publicly while unethically stashing millions. Sounds like a match made on eHarmony.
But 2016 unraveled this love connection. It started off innocent enough.
Bernie Sanders got paid by Hillary Clinton. Because he paid his dues.
The riches Sanders received from Hillary Clinton was salve for the wounds he was willing to take to throw the fight.
Trending: Video Draft Is Trump Racist
However, in typical Hillary Clinton fashion, she has buyer’s remorse. Last year, in the Loser’s Chronicle, otherwise known as “What Happened,” Clinton attacked Sanders.
Hillary blamed everyone from Comey to the mailman for her loss, and Sanders was no exception. But How DARE Hillary Clinton shift blame to Sanders for her losing the election. As Sanders sees it, he stepped aside (for money) so the more palatable candidate could be soundly defeated Trump.
Thus, Sanders did his part. Once he saw that the fix was in, he cashed out. And let’s face it, life has been good, no GREAT post-campaign.
But now elections are heating up again, and Sanders is considering another run, and Hillary’s people aren’t too happy about the audacity of it all.
Bernie and the Jets
Just last week, Clinton’s team decided to bring up the 2016 loss. This time, they criticized Sanders for his use of private jets on the campaign trail. And #TeamBernie fired back.
The Hill captured the crossfire:
The spokesman for Sen. Bernie Sanders‘s (I-Vt.) 2016 presidential campaign slammed Hillary Clinton and her staff as “total ingrates” and “assholes” following criticism from ex-Clinton aides over Sanders’s use of private jets.
“You can see why she’s one of the most disliked politicians in America. She’s not nice. Her people are not nice,” Michael Briggs, the spokesman, told Politico of Clinton. “[Sanders] busted his tail to fly all over the country to talk about why it made sense to elect Hillary Clinton and the thanks that [we] get is this kind of petty stupid sniping a couple years after the fact.”
Of course, we all knew Hillary was a class-A jerk. But watching her be this petty is unbelievable. Maybe she’s just butt-hurt that she’s not the Mother Earth of the left.
I’m not asking her!
Today, Bernie Sanders visited The View. As we all know, democrats are so desperate to beat Trump, they’ve got at least 50 candidates ready to run. And Sanders hopes to find himself on the short list. Thus, Meghan McCain asked Sanders if he wanted a little advise from his former campaign mate.
Co-host Meghan McCain pointed out to the 2020 presidential hopeful that other Democratic contenders have met with Clinton for advice, asking the senator if he’ll do the same.
“I suspect not,” Sanders quickly answered. “She has not called me.”
Asked if he would go to Hillary Clinton for advice, Bernie Sanders says, “I think not,” saying they “have fundamental differences.”

Sanders then explained that while he respects Clinton, they don’t exactly agree on a variety of issues.
“We have differences, you know, Hillary has played a very important role in modern American politics,” he said.
McCain reiterated, “So you’re not interested in any advice from her?”
“I think not,” Sanders said, prompting laughter from the audience as he stumbled to finish his thought.
Common Sense Prevails
For once, a leftist used some common sense. If you want to win, don’t ask the loser how it’s done. In fact, maybe Bernie should ask Trump for a few pointers.
Obviously, Trump doesn’t hate Bernie Sanders, but he does hate socialism. As such, he’d remind Bernie that this is America, and it will never be a socialist country.
In fact, if Trump could offer Sanders a little advise, it might go something like this:
- If you’re in it for the money, get out of it.
Trump once said “I don’t do it for the money. I’ve got enough, much more than I’ll ever need. I do it to do it.” Therefore, he hasn’t take a dime from American tax payers. Meanwhile, Bernie is stashing millions while preaching to the poor.
- Realize that when you lay down with dogs, you get fleas.
Thus, break free of the democrat party if you want to really win in life.
- Capitalism breeds success, socialism breeds laziness. Learn it, live it.
Unfortunately, Bernie’s not smart enough to join forces with President Trump. But at least he’s not dumb enough to join #TeamHillary. However, Trump hit the nail on the head when he said it’s probably past Bernie’s time. I’m not sure if Trump meant in the political arena or on this earth, but either way….
