Minnesota Leftists feel no shame. They allowed a Jew-hating radical Muslim to become a congresswoman.
A woman who celebrated National Siblings Day with her husband who happens to be her biological brother. Apparently, incest isn’t enough to rankle Democrats.
Even worse, the depiction of terrorists who killed 2,977 New Yorkers are “some people who did something” might get the woman a Nobel Peace Prize.
As The Daily Caller reported:
The New York Post’s front cover Thursday gave a blunt response to Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s characterization of the 9/11 terrorist attacks as “some people” who “did something.” The headline in large white font reads, “Here’s Your Something,” coupled with an image of the World Trade Center being hit by a plane in the background.
Omar delivered a speech March 23 — surfacing on Twitter just this week — at a Council for Islamic Relations (CAIR) fundraiser event, where she used non-specific terms to describe the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks: “some people did something.” She seemed to be trying to make the case to a majority-Muslim audience that the attacks didn’t warrant restricted “access” to the “civil liberties” of Muslims.
“CAIR was founded after 9/11, because they recognize that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar said in her speech.
Some people did something? Understand, this is what the Muslim world wants us to believe.
On 9/11 far too many Muslims cheered. Thus, I can’t imagine most Americans cheering as a wanton attack occurred in their country.
I won’t lie, I celebrated every sortie against the cruel Hussein regime in Iraq. But that dictator asked for that war. Clearly, he violated terms set forth in the United Nations, and Bush attacked him.
But if a group of Americans took it upon themselves to attack Iraq, I and most people I know would have been outraged, not celebratory.
As for the New York Post, they made their stance clear. Therefore, they subtitled the April 11 cover:
“2,977 people dead by terrorism”
Obviously, far too many Americans have forgotten that horrific day. And people like Omar hope they continue their amnesia.
Actually, James Woods may have offered the best response to Omar:
